adhhyathmajnan ka niroopan yudhishthir ne poochha- pitamah! shastroan mean manushhy ke liye adhhyathm ke nam se jisaka vichar kiya jata hai, vah adhhyathm jnan khya hai aur kaisa hai? yah mujhe bataiye. brahman, is charachar jagat ki srishti kisase huee hai aur pralayakal mean isaka lay kis prakar hota hai; is vishay ka mujhase varnan kijiye. bhishhm ji ne kaha- tat! kuantinandan! tum jis adhhyathm jnan ke vishay mean poochh rahe ho, usaki vhyakhhya maian tumhhare liye karata hooan, vah param kalhyanakari aur sukhashvaroop hai. acharyoan ne srishti aur pralay ki vhyakhhya ke sath adhhyathm jnan ka vivechan kiya hai, jise janakar manushhy is sansar mean sukh aur prasanhnata ka bhagi hota hai. use abhisht phal ki prapti bhi hoti hai. vah adhhyathmajnan samasht praniyoan ke liye hitakar hai. prithhvi, vayu, akash, jal aur agni- ye paanch mahabhoot samhpoorn praniyoan ki uthpatti aur pralay ke shthan hai. jaise laharean samudr se prakat hokar phir usi mean lin ho jati haian, usi prakar ye paanch mahabhoot bhi jis paramatma se utpann hue hai, usi mean sab praniyoan ke sahit baranbar lin hote haian. jaise kachhua apane aangoan ko phailakar pun: samet leta hai, usi prakar sampoorn bhootoan ke atma parabrahm parameshhvar apane rache hue sampoorn bhootoan ko phailakar phir apane bhitar hi samet lete haian. sampoorn bhootoan ki srishti karane vale paramatma ne sab praniyoan ke sharir mean paanch hi mahabhootoan ko sthapit kiya hai; parantu unamean vishamata kar di hai- kisi mahabhoot ke aansh ko adhik aur kisi ke aansh ko kam karake rakha hai. us vaishamy ko sadharan jiv nahian dekh pata. shabhdagun, shrotr indriy aur sharir ke sampoorn chhidr- ye tin akash ke kary haian. sparsh, cheshta aur tvagindriy- ye tin vayu ke kary mane gaye haian. roop, netr aur paripak- ye tin tej ke kary bataye jate haian. ras, jihria tatha kled (gilapan)- ye tin jal ke gun arthat kary mane gaye haian. gandh, ghranendriy aur sharir- ye tin bhoomi ke gun arthat kary haian. is prakar is sharir mean paanch mahabhoot aur chhatha man hai; aisa bataya jata hai. bharatanandan! shrotr adi paanch indriyaan aur man- ye jivatma ko vishayoan ka jnan karane vale haian. sharir mean in chh: ke atirikht satavian buddhi aur athavaan kshetrajn hai. indriyaan vishayoan ko grahan karati haian. man sankalp-vikalp karata hai. buddhi nishhchay karane vali hai aur kshetrajn (atma) sakshi ki bhaanti sthit rahata hai. donoan pairoan ke taloan se lekar oopar tak jo sharir sthit hai, use jo sakshibhoot chetan oopar-niche sab or se dekhata hai, vah is sare sharir ke bhitar aur bahar sab jagah vyapt hai. is bat ko tum achchhi tarah samajh lo. sabhi manushhyoan ko apani indriyoan (aur man-buddhi) ki dekh-bhal karake unake vishay mean poori janakari rakhani chahiye; kyoanki saththv, raj aur tam- ye tinoan gun unhian ka ashray lekar rahate haian. manushhy apani buddhi ke bal se in sabako aur jivoan ke avagaman ki avastha ko janakar shanai:-shanai: us par vichar karane se uthtam shanti pa jata hai. |
