panchshikh ke dvara moksh tattv ka vivechan evan bhagavan vishhnu dvara mithilanaresh janakavanshi janadev ki pariksha aur unake liye varadan bhishhm ji kahate haian- rajan! maharshi panchashikh ke is prakar upadesh dene par janadev janak ne pun: unase mrithyu ke pashhchat athma ki sathta ya vinash ke vishay mean prashhn kiya. janak ne poochha- bhagavan! yadi mrithyu ke pashhchat kisi ki koee vishesh sanjna nahian rah jati to us sthiti mean ajnan athava jnan khya karega? dvijashreshth! dekhiye, manushhy ki mrithyu ke sath-sath usaka sara sadhan nasht ho jata hai; phir vah pahale se savadhan ho ya asavadha, khya vishesh labh utha sakega? mrithyu hone ke pashhchat jivathma vinashashil panchamahabhootoan se koee sansarg rahata hai ya nahian? yadi rahata hai to kis liye rahata haian? is vishay mean yathartharoop se khya nishhchay kiya ja sakata haian? bhishhm ji kahate haian- rajan! raja janak ki buddhi ko ajnananhdhakar se achhchhadit tatha athma ke nash ki samhbhavana panchashikh unhhean madhur vachanoan dvara shanht karate hue-se bole.- rajan! mrithyu ke pashhchat athma ka n to nash hota hai aur n vah kisi vishesh akar mean hi parinat hota hai. yah jo prathyaksh dikhayi dene vala sanghat hai, yah bhi sharir, indriy aur man ka samoohamatr hai. yadyapi ye sab prithak-prithak haian to bhi ek-doosare ka ashray lekar karmoan mean pravritht hote haian. praniyoan ke sharir mean upadan ke roop mean akash, vayu, agni, jal aur prithhvi ye paanch dhatu haian. ye shvabhav se hi ekatr hote aur vilag ho jate haian. akash, vayu, agni, jal aur prithhvi– in paanch tattvoan ke samahar se hi anek prakar ke shariroan ka nirman hua hai. sharir mean jnan (buddhi), ooshhma (jatharanal) tatha vayu (pran) inaka samuday samasht karmoan ka sangrahak gan hai; khyoanki inhhian se indriy, indriyoan ke vishay, shvabhav, chetana, man, pran, apan, vikar aur dhatu prakat hue haian. shravan, thvacha, jihva, netr aur nasika ye paanch jnanendriyaan haian. shabhd adi gun chitt se sanyukht hokar in indriyoan ke vishay hote haian. vijnanayukht chetana (vishayoan ki upadeyata, heyata aur upekshaniyata ke karan) nishhchay hi tin prakar ki hoti hai. use adu:kha, asukha aur sukh-du:kha kahate haian. shabhd, shparsh, roop, ras, ganhdh tatha moort dravhy- ye chh: gun jiv ki mrithyu ke pahale tak indriyajanhy jnan ke sadhak hote haian (inake sath indriyoan ka sanyog hone par hi bhinhn-bhinhn vishayoan ka jnan hota hai.) shrotr adi indriyoan mean unake vishayoan ka visarjan (thyag) karane se samhpoorn tattvoan ke yatharth nishhchayaroop moksh ki prapti hoti hai. us tattv nishhchay ko athyanht nirmal uthtam jnan aur avinashi mahan brahmapad kahate haian. jo log gunoan ke sanghataroop is sharir ko hi athma samajh lete haian, unhhean mithhya jnan ke karan ananht du:khoan ki prapti hoti hai aur unaki paramhpara kabhi shanht nahian hoti. isake viparit jinaki drishti mean yah drishhy prapanch anathma siddh ho chuka hai, unaki isake prati n mamata hoti hai n ahanta, phir unhhean du:kh paramhpara kaise prapht ho; un du:khoan ke liye adhar hi khya rah jata hai? |
