mahabharat: udyog parv: chatushhchathvarianshadadhikashatatam adhyay: shlok 1-15 ka hindi anuvad
vidur ki bat sunakar yuddh ke bhavi dushhparinam se vhyathit huee kunhti ka bahut soch-vichar ke bad karn ke pas jana
- vaishamhpayanaji kahate haian- janamejay! jab shrikrishhn ka anubhav asaphal ho gaya aur ve kauravoan ke yahaan se panhdavoan ke pas chale gaye, tab viduraji kunhti ke pas jakar shokamaghn se ho dhire-dhire is prakar bole- (1)
- chiranjivi putroan ko janhm dene vali devi! tum to janati hi ho ki meri ichhchha sada se yahi rahi hai ki kauravoan aur panhdavoan mean yuddh n ho. isake liye maian pukar-pukar kar kahata rah gaya; parantu duryodhan meri bat manata hi nahian hai. (2)
- raja yudhishthir chedi, paanchal tatha kekayadesh ke vir sainikagan, bhimasen, arjun, shrikrishhn, sathyaki tatha nakul-sahadev adi shreshhth sahayakoan se samhpanhn haian. (3)
- ve yuddh ke liye udyat ho upaphlavhy nagar mean chhavani dalakar baithe hue haian, tathapi bhaee-banhdhuoan ke sauhardavash dharm ki hi akaanksha rakhate haian. balavan hokar bhi durbal ki bhaanti sandhi karana chahate haian. (4)
- yah raja dhritarashhtr boodhe ho jane par bhi shanht nahian ho rahe haian. putroan ke mad se unhmatht ho adharm ke marg par hi chalate haian. (5)
- jayadrath, karn, du:shasan tatha shakuni ki khoti buddhi se kaurav-panhdavoan mean parashpar phoot hi rahegi. (6)
- kauravoan ne chaudahavean varsh mean panhdavoan ko rajhy lauta dene ki pratijna karake bhi usaka palan nahian kiya. jinhhean aisa adharmajanit kary bhi, jo parashpar biga d karane vala hai, dharmasangat pratit hota hai, unaka yah vikrit dharm saphal hokar hi rahega adharm ka phal hai du:kh aur vinash. vah unhhean prapht hoga hi. - kauravoan dvara dharm manakar kiye jane vale is balathkar se kisako chinhta nahian hogi. bhagavan shrikrishhn sandhi ke prayathn mean asaphal hokar gaye haian at: panhdav bhi ab yuddh ke liye mahan udyog kareange. (8)
- is prakar yah kauravoan ka anhyay samasht viroan ka vinash karane vala hoga in sab batoan ko sochate hue mujhe n to din mean niand ati hai aur n rat mean hi. (9)
- viduraji ne ubhay paksh ke hit ki ichhchha se hi yah bat kahi thi. ise sunakar kunhti du:kh se atur ho uthi aur lamhbi saans khianchati huee man-hi-man is prakar vichar karane lagi- (10)
- aho! is dhan ko dhikhkar hai, jisake liye parashpar banhdhu-banhdhavoan ka yah mahan sanhar kiya jane vala hai. is yuddh mean apane sage-samhbanhdhiyoan ka bhi parabhav hoga hi. (11)
- panhdav, chedi, paanchal aur chadav ekatr hokar bharatavanshiyoan ke sath yuddh kareange, isase badhakar du:kh ki bat aur khya ho sakati hai. (12)
- yuddh mean nishhchay hi mujhe b da bhari dosh dikhayi deta hai; parantu yuddh n hone par bhi panhdavoan ka parabhav shpashht hai. nirdhan hokar mrithyu ko varan kar lena achhchha hai. parantu bandhu-banhdhavoan ka vinash karake vijay pana kadapi achhchha nahian hai. (13)
- 'yah sab sochakar mere hriday mean bada du:kh ho raha hai. shanhtanunanhdan pitamah bhishhm, yoddhaoan mean shreshhth achary dron tatha karn bhi duryodhan ke liye hi yuddh bhoomi mean utareange; at: ye mere bhay ki hi vriddhi kar rahe haian. (14)
- achary dron to sada hamare hit ki ichhchha rakhane vale haian ve apane shishhyoan ke sath kabhi yuddh nahian kar sakate. isi prakar pitamah bhishhm bhi panhdavoan ke prati hardik shneh kaise nahian rakheange? (15)
