jnan ka sadhan aur usaki mahima

bhishh‍maji kahate haian- yudhishthir! is prakar maharshi vh‍yas ke upadesh dene par shukadevaji ne unaki bhoori-bhoori prashansa ki aur mokshadharm ke vishay mean poochhane ke liye uth‍suk hokar is prakar kaha. shukadev ne poochha – pitaji! prajnavanh, vedavetta, yajnik, dosh-drishti se rahit tatha shuddh buddhivala purush us brahma ko kaise praph‍t karata hai, jo prath‍yaksh aur anuman se bhi ajnat hai tatha ved ke dvara bhi jisaka idamith‍thanroop se varnan nahian kiya gaya hai. saankhh‍y evan yog mean tap, brahmachary, sarvash‍v ka th‍yag aur medhashakti – inamean se kis sadhan ke dvara tath‍v ka sakshath‍kar mana gaya hai ? yah apase mera prashh‍n hai, ap mujhe kripapoorvak is vishay ka upadesh dijiye. manushh‍y man aur indriyoan ko jis upay se aur jis tarah ekagr kar sakata hai, us vishay ka ap vishad vivechan kijiye.

vh‍yas ji ne kaha – beta! vidya, tap, indriyanigrah aur sarvash‍vath‍yag ke bina koee bhi siddhi nahian pa sakata. samh‍poorn mahabhoot vidhata ki pahali srishti hai. ve samash‍t prani samuday mean tatha sabhi dehadhariyoan ke shariroan mean adhik se adhik bhare hue haian. dehadhariyoan ki deh ka nirman prithh‍vi se hua hai, chikanahat aur pasine adi jal se prakat hote haian, agni se netr tatha vayu se pran aur apan ka pradurbhav hua hai.nak, kan adi ke chhidroan mean akash tath‍v sthit hai. charanoan ki gati mean vishh‍nu aur bahubal (pani namak indriy) mean inh‍dr sthit haian. udar mean agnidevata pratishthit haian, jo bhojan chahate aur pachate haian. kanoan mean shravanashakti aur dishaean haian tatha jihra mean vani aur sarasvati devi ka nivas hai. donoan kan, th‍vacha, donoan netr, jihva aur paanchavi nasika-ye paanch jnanendriyaan haian. inh‍hean vishayanubhav ka dvar batalaya gaya hai. shabh‍d, sh‍parsh, roop, ras aur ganh‍dh – ye paanch indriyoan ke vishay haian. inh‍hean sada indriyoan se prithak samajhana chahiye. jaise sarathi ghodoan ko apane vash mean rakhakar unh‍hean ichh‍chhanusar chalata hai, isi prakar man indriyoan ko kaboo mean rakhakar unh‍hean sh‍vechh‍chha se vishayoan ki or prerit karata hai, parantu hriday mean rahane vala jivath‍ma sada us man par bhi shasan kiya karata hai. jaise man samh‍poorn indriyoan ka raja aur unh‍hean vishayoan ki or pravritt karane tatha rokane mean bhi samarth hai, usi prakar hriday sthit jivath‍ma bhi man ka sh‍vami tatha usake nigrah anugrah mean samarth hai. indriyaan, indriyoan ke roop, ras adi vishay, sh‍vabhav (shitoshh‍n dharm) chetana[1] man, pran, apan aur jiv ye dehadhariyoan ke shariroan mean sada vidyaman rahate haian . sharir bhi vash‍tav mean sath‍v arthath buddhi ka ashray nahian haian; kh‍yoanki paanch bhautik sharir to usaka kary hai tatha gun, shabh‍d evan chetana bhi buddhi ke ashray (karan) nahian haian; kh‍yoanki buddhi chetana ki srishti karati hai, parantu buddhi trigunatmika prakriti ko uth‍panh‍n nahian karati; kh‍yoanki buddhi sh‍vayan usaka kary hai. is prakar buddhimanh brahman is sharir mean paanch indriy, paanch vishay, sh‍vabhav, chetana, man, pran, apan aur jiv-in solah tath‍voan se avrit satrahavean paramath‍ma ka buddhi ke dvara anh‍t:karan mean sakshath‍kar karata hai.
