yudhishthir ne poochha- "pitamah! yadi koee mitrata ya sauhard ke samhbanhdh se kisi nich jati ke manushhy ko upadesh deta hai to us rajarshi ko dosh lagega ya nahian? maian is bat ko yatharth roop se janana chahata hooan. ap isaka vishad roop se vivechan karean, khyoanki dharm ki gati sookshhm hai, jahaan manushhy moh mean p d jate haian." bhishhm ji ne kaha- "rajan! is vishay mean poorvakal mean rrishiyoan ke mukh se jaisa maianne suna hai, usi kram se bataooanga, tum dhhyan dekar suno. kisi bhi nich jati ke manushhy ko upadesh nahian dena chahie. use upadesh dene par upadeshak achary ke liye mahan dosh bataya jata hai. bharatabhooshan raja yudhishthir! is vishay mean ek drishhtaant suno, jo du:kh mean p de hue ek nich jati ke purush ko upadesh dene se sanbandhit hai. himalay ke sunhdar parshhv bhag mean, jahaan bahut-se brahmanoan ke ashram bane hue haian, yah vritanht ghatit hua tha. us pradesh mean ek pavitr ashram hai, jahaan nana prakar ke hare-bhare vriksh shobha pate haian. nana prakar ki lata-belean vahaan chhayi huee haian. mrig aur pakshi us ashram ka sevan karate haian. siddh aur charan vahaan nivas karate haian. us ramaniy ashram ke as-pas ka van sunhdar pushhpoan se sushobhit hai. bahut-se vrat parayan tapashvi us ashram ka sevan karate haian. kitane hi soory aur agni ke saman tejashvi mahabhag brahman vahaan bhare rahate haian. bharatashreshhth! niyam aur vrat se samhpanhn, tapashvi, dikshit, mitahari or jitathma muniyoan se vah ashram bhara rahata hai. bharatabhooshan! vahaan sab or vedadhhyayan ki dhhvani gooanjati rahati hai. bahut-se valakhilhy evan sanhyasi us ashram ka sevan karate haian. usi ashram mean koee dayalu shoodr b da uthsah karake aya. vahaan rahane vale tapashvi rrishiyoan ne usaka b da adar-sathkar kiya. bharatananhdan! us ashram ke mahatejashvi devopam muniyoan ko nana prakar ki diksha dharan kiye dekh us shoodr ko b da harsh hua. bharat! bharatabhooshan! usake man mean vahaan tapashya karane ka vichar uthpanhn hua, at: usane kulapati ke pair pak d kar kaha- "dvijashreshhth! maian apaki kripa se dharm ka jnan prapht karana chahata hooan. at: bhagavan! ap mujhe vidhivat sannhyasi ki diksha de dean. bhagavan! sadhushiromani! maian varnoan mean sabase chhota shoodr jati ka hooan or yahian rahakar santoan ki seva karana chahata hooan, at: mujh sharanagat par ap prasanhn hoan." kulapati ne kaha- "is ashram mean koee shoodr sannhyas ka chihn dharan karake nahian rah sakata. yadi tumhhara vichar yahaan rahane ka ho to yoan hi raho aur sadhu-mahathmaoan ki seva karo. seva se hi tum uthtam lok prapht kar loge, isamean sanshay nahian hai." bhishhm ji kahate haian- "nareshhvar! muni ke aisa kahane par shoodr ne socha, yahaan mujhe khya karana chahie? meri shraddha to sannhyas-dharm ke anushhthan ke liye hi hai. achhchha, ek bat samajh mean ayi. shoodr ke liye aisa hi vidhan ho to rahe. maian to vahi karooanga jo mujhe priy lagata hai. aisa vichar kar usane us ashram se door jakar ek parnakuti bana li. |
