lakshh‍mi ke nivas karane or n karane yogh‍y purush, sh‍tri aur sh‍thanoan ka varnan

yudhishthir ne poochha- "tat! bharatashreshh‍th! kaise purush mean aur kisi tarah ki striyoan mean lakshmi nith‍y nivas karati hai? pitamah! yah mujhe bataiye."

bhishh‍m ji ne kaha- "rajan! is vishay mean ek yatharth vrittanh‍t ko maianne jaisa suna hai, usi ke anusar tumh‍hean bata raha hooan. devakinanh‍dan shrikrishh‍n ke samip rukmini devi ne sakshat lakshh‍mi se jo kuchh puchha tha, vah mujhase suno. bhagavan narayan ke aank mean baithi huee kamal ke saman kanti vali lakshh‍mi devi ko apani prabha se prakashit hoti dekh jisake manohar netr ashh‍chary se khil uthe the, un pradyumh‍najanani rukmini devi ne kautoohalavash lakshh‍mi se poochha- 'maharshi bhrigu ki putri tatha trilokinath bhagavan narayan ki priyatame! devi! tum is jagat mean kin praniyoan par kripa karake unake yahaan rahati ho? kahaan nivas karati ho aur kin-kin ka sevan karati ho? un sabako mujhe yatharth roop se batao.'

rukmini ke is prakar poochhane par chanh‍dramukhi lakshh‍mi devi ne prasanh‍n hokar bhagavan garudadhh‍vaj ke samane hi mithi vani mean yah vachan kaha. lakshh‍mi bolian- 'devi! maian pratidin aise purush mean nivas karati hooan, jo saubhagh‍yashali, nirbhik, karyakushal, karmaparayan, krodharahit, devaradhanatath‍par, kritajn, jitendriy tatha badhe hue sath‍vagun se yukh‍t ho. jo purush akarmanh‍y, nastik, varnasankar, kritaghh‍n, durachari, kroor, chor tatha gurujanoan ke dosh dekhane vala ho, usake bhitar maian nivas nahian karati hooan. jinamean tej, bal, sath‍v aur gaurav ki matra bahut tho di hai, jo jahaan-tahaan har bat mean khinh‍n ho uthate haian, jo man mean doosara bhav rakhate haian, oopar se kuchh aur hi dikhate haian, aise manushh‍yoan mean maian nivas nahian karati hooan.

jo apane liye kuchh nahian chahata, jisaka anh‍t:karan moodhata se achh‍chhanh‍n hai, jo tho de mean hi santosh kar lete haian, aise manushh‍yoan mean maian bhali-bhaanti nith‍y nivas nahian karati hooan. jo sh‍vabhavat: sh‍vadharmaparayan, dharmajn, b de-boodhoan ki seva mean tath‍par, jitendriy, man ko vash mean rakhane vale, kshamashil, aur samarthh‍yashali haian, aise purushoan mean tatha kshamashil evan jitendriy abalaoan mean bhi maian nivas karati hooan. jo striyaan sh‍vabhavat: sath‍yavadini tatha saralata se sanyukh‍t haian, jo devataoan aur dvijoan ki pooja karane vali haian, unamean bhi maian nivas karati hooan. jo apane samay ko kabhi vh‍yarth nahian jane dete, sada dan evan shauchachar mean tath‍par rahate haian, jinh‍hean brahmachary, tapasya, jnan, gau aur dvij param priy haian, aise purushoan mean maian nivas karati hooan.

jo striyaan kamaniy gunoan se yukh‍t, devataoan tatha brahmanoan ki seva mean tath‍par, ghar ke bartan-bhaan doan ko shuddh tatha sh‍vachh‍chh rakhane vali evan gauoan ki seva tatha dhanh‍y ke sangrah mean tath‍par hoti haian, unamean bhi maian sada nivas karati hooan. jo ghar ke bartanoan ko suvh‍yavasthit roop se n rakhakar idhar-udhar bikhere rahati haian, soch-samajhakar kam nahian karati haian, sada apane pati ke pratikool hi bolati haian, doosaroan ke gharoan mean ghoomane-phirane mean asakh‍t rahati haian aur lajh‍ja ko sarvatha chho d baithati haian, unako maian th‍yag deti hooan. jo sh‍tri nirdayatapoorvak papachar mean tath‍par rahane vali, apavitr, chator, dhairyahin, kalahapriy, niand mean besudh hokar sada khat par p di rahane vali hoti hai, aisi nari se maian sada door hi rahati hooan.
