vyas ji ke samane draupadi ka paanch purushoan se vivah hone ke vishay mean drupad, dhrishtadyumn aur yudhishthir ka apane-apane vichar vyakh‍t karana

vaishampayan ji kahate hai- janamejay! tadananh‍tar ve panh‍dav tatha mahayashash‍vi paanchalaraj drupad –sabane kh de hokar mahath‍ma shrikrishn dvaipayan vyas ji ko pranam kiya.. unake dvara ki hurhi pooja ko prasannatapoorvak sh‍vikar karake anh‍t mean sabase kushal-mangal poochhakar mahamana vyas ji shuddh suvarnamay asan par virajaman hue. phi‍r amit-tejash‍vi vyas ji ki ajna pakar ve sabhi narashreshth bahumulh‍y asanoan par baithe. rajanh! tadananh‍tar do gh di ke bad raja drupad ne mithi vani bolakar mahath‍ma vyas ji se draupadi ke vishay mean poochha- ‘bhagavanh! ek hi sh‍tri bahut-se purushoan ki dharmapath‍ni kaise ho sakati hai? jisase sankarata ka dosh n lage, yah sab ap thik-thik batavean.’

vyas ji ne kaha- ath‍yanh‍t gahan hone ke karan shash‍triy avaran ke dvara dhake hue atev is lok ved viruddh dharm ke sambanh‍dh mean tumamean se jisaka-jisaka jo-jo mat ho, use maian sunana chahata hooan.

drupad bole- dvijashreshth! meri ray mean to yah adharm hi hai; kh‍yoanki yah lok aur ved donoan ke viruddh hai. bahut-se purushoan ki ek hi path‍ni ho, aisa vyavahar kahian bhi nahian hai. poorvavarti mahath‍ma purushoan ne bhi aise dharm ka acharan nahian kiya hai; aur vidvan purushoan ko kisi prakar bhi adharm ka acharan nahian karana chahiye. isaliye maian is dharmavirodhi achar ko kam mean nahian lana chahata. mujhe to is kary ke dharmasangat hone mean sada hi sandeh jan p data hai.

dhrishtadyumn bole- dvijashreshth! ap brahman haian, tapodhan haian, ap hi bataiye b da bhaee sadachari hote hue bhi apane chhote bhaee ki sh‍tri ke sath samagam kaise kar sakata hai? dharm ka sh‍varup ath‍yanh‍t sookshm hone ke karan ham usaki gati ko sarvatha nahian janate; at: yah kary adharm hai ya dharm, isaka nishh‍chay karana ham-jaise logoan ke liye asambhav hai, brahmanh! isiliye ham kisi tarah bhi aisi sammati nahian de sakate ki rajakumari krishna paanch purushoan ki dharmapath‍ni ho.

yudhishthir ne kaha- meri vani kabhi jhooth nahian bolati aur meri buddhi bhi kabhi adharm mean nahian lagati; parantu is vivah mean mere man ki pravriti ho rahi hai, isali‍ye yah kisi prakar bhi adharm nahian hai. puranoan mean bhi suna jata hai ki dharmath‍maoan mean shreshth jatila nam vali gautam gautr ki kanh‍ya ne sat rrishiyoan ke sath vivah kiya tha. isi prakar kanh‍du muni ki putri vakshi ne tapash‍ya se pavitr anh‍t:karan vale das prachetaoan ke sath, jinaka ek hi nam tha aur jo apas mean bhaee-bhaee the, vivah sambanh‍dh sh‍thapit kiya tha. dharmajnoan mean shreshth vyas ji! gurujanoan ki ajna ko dharmasangat bataya gaya hai aur samash‍t guruoan mean mata paramaguru mani gayi hai. hamari mata ne bhi yahi bat kahi hai ki tum sab log bhiksha ki bhaanti isaka upabhog karo; at: dvijashreshth! ham paanchoan bhaiyoan ke sath hone vale is vivahasambanh‍dh ko paramadharm manate haian.
