panchamahabhootoan ke gunoan ka aur indriyanigrah ka varnan

markanh‍dey ji kahate haian- bharatananh‍dan! dharmavh‍yadh ke is prakar upadesh dene par kaushik brahman ne pun: man ki prasannata ko badhane vali varta praramh‍bh ki. brahman bola- dharmath‍maoan mean shreshh‍th vh‍yadh! jo paanch mahabhoot kahe jate haian, un paanchoan mean se prath‍yek ke gunoan ka mujhase bhali-bhaanti varnan karo.

dharmavh‍yadh ne kaha- brahmanh! prithh‍vi, jal, agri, vayu aur akash-ye sab poorv-poorv vale tath‍v apane se uttar-uttar valoan ke gunoan se yukh‍t haian. unake gunoan ka varnan karata hooan. vipravar! prithh‍vi mean paanch gun haian, jal char gunoan se yukh‍t hai, tej mean tin gun hote haian, vayu mean do aur akash mean ek gun hai. shabh‍d, sh‍parsh, roop, ras aur ganh‍dh- ye bhoomi ke paanch gun haian. is prakar bhoomi anh‍y sab bhootoan ki apeksha adhik gunavati hai. dvijashreshh‍th! shabh‍d, sh‍parsh, roop aur ras-ye char jal ke gun haian. uttam vrat ka palan karane vale brahman! inaka varnan pahale bhi apase kiya gaya hai. shabh‍d, sh‍parsh tatha roop-ye tej ke tin gun haian, shabh‍d aur sh‍parsh-ye do gun vayu ke haian tatha akash mean ek hi gun hai-shabh‍d.

brahmanh! is prakar paanchoan bhootoan mean ye pandrah gun bataye gaye haian. inh‍hian mean samh‍poorn lok pratishthit hai. vipravar! ye paanch bhoot ek-doosare ke bina nahian rah sakate. parash‍par milakar hi bhali-bhaanti prakashit hote haian. jis samay vh‍yakh‍t aur avh‍yakh‍t paanchoan bhoot vishayabhav ko praph‍t hote haian, us samay yah jiv kal ki prerana se apane sankalh‍panusar doosare sharir ko praph‍t ho jata hai. ye paanchoan bhoot mrith‍yukal mean pratilom kram se vilin ho jate haian aur uth‍pati kal mean anulom kram se uth‍pann hote haian. vibhinn shariroan mean jitane rakh‍t adi dhatu dikhayi dete haian, ve sab paanch bhootoan ke hi parinam haian, jinase yah samash‍t charachar jagath vh‍yaph‍t hai. bahy indriyoan se jis-jisaka sansarg hota hai, vah-vah vh‍yakt mana gaya hai; parantu jo vishay indriy grahy nahian hai, keval anuman se jana jata hai, use avh‍yakh‍t samajhana chahiye.

apane-apane vishayoan ka atikraman n karake in shabh‍d adi vishayoan ko grahan karane vali in indriyoan ko jab ath‍ma apane vash mean karata hai, tab mano vah tapash‍ya karata hai. vah samh‍poorn lokoan mean apane ko vh‍yaph‍t aur apane mean samh‍poorn lokoan ko sthit dekhata hai. is prakar jo nirgun brahm ko janane vala samarth jnani purush hai, vah samh‍poorn bhootoan ko ath‍maroop se dekhata hai. sab avash‍thaoan mean sada samash‍t bhootoan ko ath‍maroop se dekhane vale us brahmash‍varoop jnani ka kabhi bhi ashubh karmoan se samh‍park hona samh‍bhav nahian hai. us (poorvokh‍t) ajnanajanit kh‍lesh se jo par ho gaya hai, us mahapurush ka prabhav usake dvara ki jane vali laukik cheshh‍taoan se jnanamarg ke dvara jana ja sakata hai. buddhiman bhagavan brahma ne (apane ni:shvavas bhoot vedoan ke dvara) mukh‍t jiv ko adi-anh‍t se rahit, sh‍vayamh‍bhoo, avikari, anupam tatha nirakar bataya gaya hai.
