brahmanagita- ek brahman ka apani patni se jnan yajn ka upadesh karana

shrikrishn kahate haian- bharatashreshth! arjun! isi vishay mean pati-patni ke sanvad roop ek prachin itihas ka udaharan diya jata hai. ek brahman, jo jnan-vijnan ke paragami vidvan the, ekant sthan mean baithe hue the, yah dekhakar unaki patni brahmani apane un pati dev ke pas jakar boli- ‘prananath! maianne suna hai ki striyaan pati ke karmanusar prapt hue lokoan ko jati haian, kiantu ap jo karm chho dakar baithe haian aur mere prati kathorata ka bartav karate haian. apako is bat ka pata nahian hai ki maian anany bhav se apake hi ashrit hooan. aisi dasha mean ap jaise pati ka ashray lekar mean kis lok mean aooangi? apako pati roop mean pakar meri kya gati hogi’. patni ke aisa kahane par ve shantachitt vale brahman devata hansate hue se bole- ‘saubhagyashalini! tum pap se sada door rahati ho, at: tumhare is kathan ke liye maian bura nahian manata.

sansar mean grahan karane yogy diksha aur vrat adi haian tatha in aankhoan se dikhayi dene vale jo sthool karm haian, unhian ko vastut: karm mana jata hai. karmath log aise hi karm ko karm ke nas se pukarate haian. kiantu jinhean jnan ki prapti nahian huee hai, ve log karm ke dvara moh ka hi sangrah karate haian. is lok meean koee do gh di bhi bina karm kiye rah sake, aisa sambhav nahian hai. man se, vani se tatha kriya dvara jo bhi shubh ya ashubh kary hota hai, vah tatha janm, sthiti, vinash evan sharir bhed adi karm praniyoan mean vidyaman haian. jab rakshasoan durjanoan ne jahaan som aur ghrit adi drishy dravyoan ka upayog hota hai, un karm margoan ka vinash arambh kar diya, jab maianne unase virakt hokar svayan hi apane bhitar sthit hue atma ke sthan ko dekha. jahaan dvandvoan se rahit v parabrahm paramatma virajaman haian, jahaan som agni ke sath nity samagam karata hai tatha jahaan sab bhootoan ko dharan karane vala dhir samir nirantar chalata rahata hai.

jahaan brahma adi devata tatha uttam vrat ka palan karane vale shantachitt jitendriy vidvan yogayukt hokar us avinashi brahm ki upasana karate haian. vah avinashi brahm ghranendriyoan se sooghanne aur jihva dvara asvadan karane yogy nahian hai. sparshendriy tvacha dvara usaka sparsh bhi nahian kiya ja sakata, keval buddhi ke dvara usaka anubhav kiya ja sakata hai. vah netroan ka vishay nahian ho sakata. vah anirvayaniy parabrahm shravanendriy ki pahuanch se sarvatha pare hai. gandh, ras, sparsh roop aur shabd adi koee bhi lakshan usamean upalabdh nahian hai. usi se srishti adi ka vistar hota hai aur usi mean usaki sthiti hai. pran, apan, saman, vyan aur udan- ye usi se prakat hote aur phir usi mean pravisht ho jate haian. saman aur vyan- in donoan ke bich mean pran aur apan vicharate haian. us apan sahit pran ke lin hone par saman aur vyan ka bhi lay ho jata hai. apan aur pran ke bich mean udan sabako vyapt karake sthit hota hai. isiliye soye hue purush ko pran aur apan nahian chho date haian.
