kam, krodh adi terah doshoan ka niroopan aur unake nash ka upay yudhishthir ne poochha- bharatashreshth! param buddhiman pitamah! krodh, kam, shok, moh, vidhithsa (shastraviruddh kam karane ki ichhchha), parasuta (doosaroan ke marane ki ichhchha), mad, lobh, mathsary, eershhya, nianda, doshadrishti aur kanjoosi (dainhyabhav)- ye sab dosh kisase uthpanhn hote haian?, yah thik-thik bataiye. bhishhm ji ne kaha- maharaj yudhishthir! tumhhare kahe hue ye terah dosh praniyoan ke athyant prabal shatru mane gaye haian, jo yahaan manushhyoan ko sab or se ghere rahate haian. ye sada savadhan rahakar pramad mean p de hue purush ko athyant pi da dete haian. manushhy ko dekhate hi bhe diyoan ki tarah balapoorvak us par toot p date haian. narashreshth! inhhian se sabako du:kh prapht hota hai, inhhian ki prerana se manushhy ki papakarmoan mean pravriti hoti hai. prathyek purush ko sada is bat ki janakari rakhani chahiye. prithhvinath! ab maian yah bata raha hooan ki inaki uthpatti kisase hoti hai? ye kis tarah sthir rahate haian? aur kaise inaka vinash hota hai? rajan! sabase pahale krodh ki uthpatti ka yatharth roop se varnan karata hooan. tum yahaan ekagrachitt hokar is vishay ko suno. rajan! krodh lobh se uthpanhn hota hai, doosaroan ke dosh dekhane se badhata, kshama karane se tham jata aur kshama se hi nivrit ho jata hai. kam sankalhp se uthpanhn hota hai. usaka sevan kiya jay to badhata hai aur jab buddhiman purush usase virakht ho jata hai, tab vah (kam) tathkal nasht ho jata hai. krodh aur lobh se tatha abhhyas se parasuta prakat hoti hai. sanpoorn praniyoan ke prati daya se aur vairaghy se vah nivrit hoti hai. paradosh-darshan se isaki uthpatti hoti aur buddhimanoan ke tatthvajnan se vah nasht ho jati hai. moh ajnan se uthpanhn hota hai aur pap ki avriti karane se badhata hai. jab manushhy vidvanoan mean anurag karata hai, tab usaka moh tathkal nasht ho jata hai. kurooshreshth! jo log dharm ke virodhi shastroan ka avalokan karate haian, unake man mean anuchit karm karane ki ichhchharoop vidhithsa uthpanhn hoti hai. yah tatthvajnan se nivrit hoti hai. jis par prem ho, us prani ke viyog se shok prakat hota hai. parantu jab manushhy yah samajh le ki shok vhyarth hai- usase koee labh nahian hai to turant hi us shok ki shaanti ho jati hai. krodh, lobh aur abhhyas ke karan parasuta arthat doosaroan ko marane ki ichhchha hoti hai. samasht praniyoan ke prati daya aur vairaghy hone se usaki nivriti ho jati hai. sathy ka thyag aur dushtoan ka sath karane se mathsary-dosh ki uthpatti hoti hai. tat! shreshth purushoan ki seva aur sangati karane se usaka nash ho jata hai. apane uthtam kul, uthkrisht jnan tatha aishhvary ka abhiman hone se dehabhimani manushhyoan par mad savar ho jata hai; parantu inake yatharth shvaroop ka jnan ho jane par vah mad tathkal utar jata hai. |
