raja ke liye sadachari vidvan purohit ki avashyakata tatha prajapalan ka mahattv


bhishmaji ne kaha-rajanh! raja ko chahiye ki vah ek aise vidvan brahman ko apana purohit banave, jo usake satkarmoan ki raksha kare aur use asat karm se door rakhe ( tatha jo usake shubh ki raksha aur ashubh ka nivaran kare ). is vishay mean vidvan log ila kumar puroorava tatha vayu ke sanvadaroop prachin itihas ka udaharan diya karate haian. puroorava ne kaha- vayudev! brahman ki utpatti kisase huee hai? any tinoan varn bhi kisase utpann hue hai tatha brahman un sabase shreshth kyoan hai? yah mujhe spasht roop se batane ki kripa kare. vayu ne kaha- nripashreshth! brahmaji ke mukh se brahman ki, donoan bhujaoan se kshatriy ki tatha donoan ooroooan se vaishy ki srishti huee hai. bharatashreshth! isake bad in tinoan varnoan ki seva ke liye brahmaji ke donoan pairoan se chauthe varn shoodr ki rachana huee. brahman janmakal se hi bhootal par dharmakosh ki raksha ke liye any sab varnoan ka niyant hota hai. tadanantar brahmaji ne prithvi par shasan karane vale aur dand dharan mean samarth doosare varn kshatriy ko prajajanoan ki raksha ke liye niyukt kiya. vaishy dhan-dhany ke dvara in tinoan varnoan ka poshan kare aur shoodr shesh tinoan varnoan ki seva mean sanlagn rahe, yah brahmaji ka adesh hai.

puroorava ne poochha- vayudev! dhan-dhanyasahit yah prithvi dharmatah kisaki hai? brahman ya kshatriy ki? yah mujhe thik-thik bataiye. vayudev ne kaha- rajanh! dharm nipun vidvan aisa manate hai ki uttam sthan se utpann aur jyeshth hone ke karan is prithvi par jo kuchh hai, vah sab brahman ka hi hai. brahman apana hi khata, apana hi pahanata aur apana hi deta hai. nishchay hi brahman sab varnoan ka guru, jyeshth aur shreshth hai. jaise vagdan ke anantar pati ke mar jane par stri devar ko pati banati hai[1], usi prakar prithvi brahman ke bad hi kshatriy ka patiroop mean varan karati hai, yah tumhean maianne anadi kal se prachalit pratham shreni ka niyam bataya hai. apattikal mean isamean pher-phar bhi ho sakata hai. yadi tum svadharm- palan ke phalasvaroop svargalok mean uttam sthan ki khoj kar rahe ho ( chahate ho ) to jitani bhoomi par tum vijay prapt karo, vah sab shastr aur sadachar se sampann, dharmajn, tapasvi tatha svadharm se santusht brahyan ko purohit banakar sauanp do, jo ki dhanoparjan mean asakt n ho. tatha jo sarvatobhav se paripoorn apani buddhi ke dvara raja ko sanmarg par le ja sake; kyoanki jo brahyan uttam kul mean utpann, vishuddh bu़iddh se yukt aur vinayashil hota hai, vah vichitr vani bolakar raja ko kalyan ke path par le jata hai. jo brahyan ka bataya hua dharm hai, usi ko raja acharan mean lata hai. kshatriyadharm me tatpar rahane vala, ahankarashoony tatha purohit ki bat sunane ke liye utsuk, utane se hi samman ko prapt hua vidvanh naresh chirakalak tak yashasvi bana rahata hai tatha rajapurohit usake sampoorn dharm ka bhagidar hota hai.
