draupadi ka purusharth ko pradhan manakar purusharth karane ke liye jor dena

draupadi boli- kuntinandan! maian dharm ki avahelana tatha nianda kisi prakar nahian kar sakati. phir samast prajaoan ka palan karane vale parameshvar ki avahelana to kar hi kaise sakati hooan. bharat! ap aisa samajh lean ki maian shok se art hokar pralap kar rahi hooan. maian itane se hi chup nahian rahuangi aur bhi vilap karooangi. ap prasannachitt hokar meri bat suniye.

shatrunashan! jnani purush ko bhi is sansar mean karm avashy karana chahiye. parvat aur vriksh adi sthavar bhoot hi bina karm kiye ji sakate haian, doosare log nahian. maharaja yudhishthir! gauoan ke bachh de bhi mata doodh pite aur chhaya mean jakar vishram karate haian. is prakar sabhi jiv karm karake jivan nirvah karate haian. bharatashreshth! jangam jivoan mean vishesharoop se manushy karm ke dvara hi ihalok aur paralok mean jivika prapt karana chahate haian. bharat! sabhi prani apane utthan ko samajhate haian aur karmoan ke pratyaksh phal ka upabhog karate haian, jisaka sakshi sara jagath hai. yah jal ke samip jo bagula baithakar (machhali ke liye) dhyan laga raha hai, usi ke saman ye sabhi prani apane udyog ka ashray lekar jivan dharan karate haian.

dhata aur vidhata bhi sada srishtipalan ke udyog mean lage rahate haian. karm n karane vale praniyoan ki koee jivika bhi siddh nahian hoti. atah (prarabdh ka bharosa karake) sabhi karm ka parityag n kare. sada karm ka hi ashray le. atah ap apana karm karean. usamean glani n kare; karm ka kavach pahane rahean. jo karm karana achchhi tarah janata hai, aisa manushy hajaroan mean ek bhi hai, ya nahian? yah batana kathin hai. dhan ki vriddhi aur raksha ke lie bhi karm ki avashyakata hai. yadi dhan ka upabhog (vyay) hota rahe aur ay n ho to himalay jaisi dhanarashi ka bhi kshay ho sakata hai. yadi samast praja is bhootal par karm karana chho d de to sabaka sanhar ho jaye. yadi karm ka kuchh phal n ho to in prajaoan ki vaddhi hi n ho. ham dekhate haian ki log vyarth karm mean lage rahate haian, karm n karane par to logoan ki kisi prakar jivika hi nahian chal sakati.

sansar mean jo keval bhagy ke bharose karm nahian karata arthath jo aisa manata hai ki pahale jaisa kiya hai vaisa hi phal apane ap hi prapt hoga tatha jo hathavadi hai-bina kisi yukti ke hathapoorvak yah manata hai ki karm karana anavashyak hai, jo kuchh milana hoga, apane ap mil jayega, ve donoan hi moorkh haian. jisaki buddhi karm (purusharth) mean ruchi rakhati hai, vahi prashansa ka patr hai. jo khoti buddhi vala manushy prarabdh (bhagy) ka bharosa rakhakar udyog se muanh mo d leta hai aur sukh se sota rahata hai, usaka jal mean rakhe hue kachche gh de ki bhaanti vinash ho jata hai. isi prakar jo hathi aur durbuddhi manav karm karane mean samarth hokar bhi karm nahian karata, baitha rahata hai, vah durbal evan anath ki bhaanti dirghajivi nahian hota. jo koee manushy is jagat mean akasmath kahian se dhan pa leta hai, use log hath se mila hua man lete haian; kyoanki usake liye kisi ke dvara prayatn kiya hua nahian dikhata.
