devasthan muni ke dvara yudhishthir ke prati uttam dharm ka aur yajnadi karane ka upadesh

devasthan kahate haian- rajanh! is vishay mean log is prachin itihas ka udaharan diya karate haian. kisi samay indr ke poochhane par brihaspati ne is prakar kaha tha- 'rajanh! manushy ke man mean santosh hona svarg ki prapti se bhi badhakar hai. santosh hi sabase b da sukh hai. santosh yadi man mean bhalibhaanti pratishthit ho jay to usase badhakar sansar mean kuchh bhi nahian hai. jaise kachhua apane aangoan ko sab or se siko d leta hai, usi prakar jab manushy apani sab kamanaoan ko sab or se samet leta hai, us samay turant hi jyotiahsvaroop atma apane antahkaran mean prakashit ho jata hai. jab manushy kisi se bhay nahian manata aur jab usase bhi doosare prani bhay nahian manate tatha jab vah kam (rag) aur dvesh ko jit leta hai, tab apane atmasvaroop ka sakshatkar kar leta hai. jab vah man, vani aur kriya dvara sampoorn praniyoan mean se kisi ke sath n to droh karata hai aur n kisi ki abhilasha hi rakhata hai, tab parabrahm paramatma ko prapt ho jata hai.'

kuntinandan! is prakar sampoorn jiv us-us dharm ka usi-usi prakar se jab thik-thik palan karate haian, tab svayan atma se paramatma ka sakshatkar kar lete haian; atah bharatanandan! is samay tum apana kartavy samajho. kuchh log sam (premapoorn bartav) ki prashansa karate haian aur koee vyayam (yatn aur parishram) ke gun gate haian. koee in donoan mean se ek (sam) ki prashansa nahian karate haian to koee doosare (vyayam) ki tatha kuchh log donoan ki hi b di prashansa karate haian. koee yajn ko hi achchha batate haian to doosare log sannyas ki hi sarahana karate haian. koee dan dene ke prashansak haian to koee dan lene ke. koee sab chho dakar chupachap bhagavan ke dhyan mean lage rahate haian aur kuchh log mar-kat machakar shatruoan ki sena ko vidirn karake rajy pane ke anantar prajapalan roopi dharm ki prashansa karate haian tatha doosare log ekant mean rahakar atmachintan karana achchha samajhate haian.

in sab batoan par vichar karake vidvanoan ne aisa nishchay kiya hai ki kisi bhi prani se droh n karake jis dharm ka palan hota hai, vahi sadhu purushoan ki ray mean uttam dharm hai. kisi se droh n karana, saty bolana, (balivaishvadev karm dvara) samast praniyoan ko yogy unaka bhag samarpit karana, sabake prati dayabhav banaye rakhana, man aur indriyoan ka sanyam karana, apani hi patni se santan utpann karana tatha mriduta, lajja evan achalata adi gunoan ko apanana- ye shreshth evan abhisht dharm haian, aisa svayambhuv manu ka kathan hai. kuntinandan! atah tum bhi prayatnapoorvak is dharm ka palan karo. jo kshatriy naresh rajy sianhasan par sthit ho apani sampoorn indriyoan ko sada apane adhin rakhata hai, priy aur apriy ko saman drishti se dekhata hai, yajn se bache hue ann ka bhojan karata hai, shastroan ke yatharth rahasy ko janata hai, dushtoan ka daman aur sadhu purushoan ka palan karata hai, samast praja ko dharm ke marg mean sthapit karake svayan bhi dharmanukool bartav karata hai, vriddhavastha mean rajalakshmi ko putr ke adhin karake van mean jakar jangali phal-mooloan ka ahar karate hue jivan bitata hai tatha vahaan bhi shastr-shravan se jnat hue shastravihit karmoan ka alasy chho dakar palan karata hai, aisa bartav karane vala vah raja hi dharm ko nishchit roop se janane aur manane vala hai. usaka yah lok aur paralok donoan saphal ho jate haian, mera yah vishvas hai ki sannyas ke dvara nirvan prapt karana atyant dushkar evan durlabh hai; kyoanki usamean bahut se vighn ate haian.

is prakar dharm ka anusaran karane vale, saty, dan aur tap mean salangn rahane vale, daya adi gunoan se yukt, kam-krodh adi doshoan se rahit, prajapalanaparayan, uttam dharmasevi tatha gauoan aur brahmanoan ki raksha ke liye yuddh karane vale nareshoan ne param uttam gati prapt ki hai. shatruoan ko santap dene vale yudhishthir! isi prakar rudr, vasu, adity, sadhyagan tatha rajarshisamoohoan ne savadhan hokar is dharm ka ashray liya hai. phir unhoanne apane punyakarma dvara svargalok prapt kiya hai.
