panchachoo da aph‍sara ka narad ji se striyoan ke doshoan ka varnan karana

yudhishthir ne kaha- bharatashreshh‍th! maian striyoan ke sh‍vabhav ka varnan sunana chahata hooan, kh‍yoanki sare doshoan ki j d striyaan hi haian. ve ochhi buddhi vali mani gayi haian.

bhishh‍m ji ne kaha- rajan! is vishay mean devarshi narad ka aph‍sara panchachoo da ke sath sanvad hua tha, usi prachin itihas ka udaharan diya jata hai.

pahale ki bat hai, samh‍poorn lokoan mean vicharate hue devarshi narad ne ek din brahmalok ki anindy sunh‍dari aph‍sara panchachoo da ko dekha. manohar aangoan se yukh‍t us apsara ko dekhakar muni ne usake samane apana prashn rakha- ‘sumadhh‍yame! mere hriday mean ek mahan sandeh hai. usake vishay mean mujhe yatharth bat batao.'

bhishh‍m ji kahate haian- yudhishthir! narad ji ke aisa kahane par panchachoo da aph‍sara ne unh‍hean is prakar uttar diya- 'yadi ap mujhe us prashn ka uttar dene ke yogh‍y manate haian aur vah batane yogh‍y hai to avashh‍y bataooangi.'

narad ji ne kaha- bhadre! maian tumh‍hean aisi bat batane ke liye nahian kahooanga jo kahane yogh‍y n ho; maian tumh‍hare muanh se striyoan ke sh‍vabhav ka varnan sunana chahata hooan.

bhishh‍m ji kahate haian- rajan! narad ji ka yah vachan sunakar vah uttam aph‍sara boli- 'devarshe! maian stri hokar striyoan ki ninh‍da nahian kar sakati. sansar mean jaisi striyaan haian, unake jaise sh‍vabhav haian, ve sab apako vidit haian; at: devarshe! ap mujhe aise kary mean n lagavean.'

tab devarshi ne usase kaha- 'sumadhh‍yame! tum sachh‍chi bat batao. jhooth bolane mean dosh lagata hai. sach kahane mean koee dosh nahian hai.'

unake is prakar samajhane par us manohar hash‍y vali aph‍sara ne kahane ke liye dridh nishh‍chay karake striyoan ke sachh‍che aur sh‍vabhavik doshoan ko batana aramh‍bh kiya. panchachoo da boli- narad ji! kulin, roopavati aur sanath yuvatiyaan bhi maryada ke bhitar nahian rahati haian. yah striyoan ka dosh hai. striyoan se badhakar papishh‍th doosara koee nahian hai. striyaan sare doshoan ki j d haian, is bat ko ap bhi achh‍chhi tarah janate haian. yadi striyoan ko doosaroan se milane ka avasar mil jaye to ve sadgunoan mean vikhh‍yat, dhanavan, anupam roop-saunh‍daryashali tatha apane vash mean rahane vale patiyoan ki bhi pratiksha nahian kar sakatian. prabho! ham striyoan mean yah sabase b da patak hai ki ham papi se papi purushoan ko bhi laj chho dakar sh‍vikar kar leti haian. jo purush kisi sh‍tri ko chahata hai, usake nikat tak pahuanchata hai aur usaki tho di-si seva kar deta hai, usi ko ve yuvatiyaan chahane lagati haian. striyoan mean maryada ka koee sh‍than nahian rahata. jab unako koee chahane vala purush n mile aur parijanoan ka bhay bana rahe tatha pati pas hoan, tabhi ye nariyaan maryada ke bhitar rah pati haian. inake liye koee bhi purush aisa nahian hai jo agamh‍y ho. unaka kisi avash‍tha–vishesh par bhi nishh‍chay nahian rahata. koee roopavan ho ya kurup; purush hai, itana hi samajhakar striyaan usaka upabhog karati haian. striyaan n to bhay se, n daya se, n dhan ke labh se aur n jati ya kul ke samh‍banh‍dh se hi patiyoan ke pas tikati haian.
