saty ki mahima, asaty ke dosh tatha lok aur paralok ke sukh-du:kh ka vivechan

bhrigu ji kahate haian- mune! saty hi brahm hai, saty hi tap hai, saty hi praja ki srishti karata hai, saty ke hi adhar par sansar tika hua hai aur saty ke hi prabhav se manushy svarg mean jata hai. asaty andhakar ka roop hai. vah manushh‍y ko niche girata hai. ajnanandhakar se ghire hue manushh‍y tamogun se grast hokar jnan ke prakash ko nahian dekh pate haian. svarg prakashamay hai aur narak andhakaramay hai, aisa kahate haian. saty aur anrit se yukh‍t jo manav-yoni hai, vah jnan aur ajnan donoan ke sammishran se jagat ke jivoan ko prapt hoti hai. usamean bhi lok mean aisi vritti janani chahiye, jo saty aur anrit haian, ve hi dharm aur adharm, prakash aur andhakar tatha du:kh aur sukh haian. vahaan jo saty hai, vahi dharm hai, jo dharm hai vahi prakash hai aur jo prakash hai, vahi sukh hai. isi prakar vahaan jo anrit arthat asaty hai, vahi adharm hai aur jo adharm hai, vahi andhakar hai aur jo andhakar hai, vahi du:kh hai. is vishay mean aisa kaha jata hai- sansar ki srishti sharirik aur manasik kleshoan se yukh‍t hai. isamean jo sukh haian, ve bhi ant mean du:kh hi utpann karane vale haian. aisi drishti rakhane vale vidvan purush kabhi moh mean nahian p date haian. at: vijn evan buddhiman manushh‍y ko chahiye ki sada du:kh se chhootane ke liye prayatn kare. ihalok aur paralok mean bhi praniyoan ko jo sukh milata hai, vah anity hai. jaise rahu se grast hone par chandrama ki chaandani prakash mean nahian ati, usi prakar tam (ajnan evan du:kh) se pi di‍t hue praniyoan ka sukh nasht ho jata hai.

sukh do prakar ka bataya jata hai- sharirik aur manasik. ihalok aur paralok mean jo vastuoan ki prapti ke liye pravritiyaan haian, ve sukh ke liye hi batayi jati haian. is sukh se badhakar trivarg (dharm, arth aur kam) ka aur koee atyant vishisht phal nahian hai. vah sukh hi prani ka vanchhaniy gun vishesh hai. dharm aur arth jisake aang haian, us sukh ke liye hi karmoan ka aramh‍bh kiya jata hai; kyoanki sukh ki utpatti mean udyam hi hetu haian; at: sukh ke uddeshh‍y se hi karmoan ka aramh‍bh kiya jata hai.

bharadvaj ne poochha- prabhoan! apane jo yah bataya hai ki sukhoan ka hi sabasean ooancha sh‍than hai- sukh se badhakar trivarg ka aur koee phal nahian hai, apaki yah bat hamare man mean thik nahian janchati hai; kh‍yoanki jo mahan tap mean sthit rrishigat haian, unake liye yah vanchhaniy gun vishesh sukh yadyapi praph‍t ho sakata hai, to bhi ve ise nahian chahate haian. suna jata hai ki tinoan lokoan ki srishti karane vale bhagavan brahma akele hi rahate haian, brahmachary ka palan karate haian aur kamasukh mean kabhi man nahian lagate haian. bhagavati uma ke pranavalh‍labh bhagavan vishh‍vanath ne bhi apane samane aye hue kam ko jalakar shaant kar diya aur use anang bana diya; isaliye ham kahate haian ki mahath‍ma purushoan ne kabhi ise sh‍vikar nahian kiya hai. unake liye yah kamasukh arthat saansarik bhogoan ka sukh sabasean badhakar sukh vishesh nahian hai; parantu apaki batoan se mujhe aisi pratiti nahian hoti hai. apane to yah kaha hai ki is sukh se badhakar doosara koee phal nahian hai. lok mean aisa kaha jata hai ki phal ki uth‍patti do prakar ki hoti hai. punh‍yakarm se sukh praph‍t hota hai aur papakarm se du:kh.
