shaktishali shatru ke samane beant ki bhaanti natamash‍tak hone ka upadesh-saritaoan aur samunh‍dr ka sanvad


yudhishthir ne poochha- bharatashreshth! raja ek durlabh rajh‍y ko pakar bhi sena aur khajana adi sadhanoan se rahit ho to sabhi drishtiyoan se ath‍yanh‍t badhe-chadhe hue shatru ke samane kaise tik sakata hai? bhishh‍m ji ne kaha- bharat! is vishay mean vijn purush saritaoan tatha samunh‍dr ke sanvadarup ek prachin upakhh‍yan ka drishh‍tanh‍t diya karate haian.

ek samay ki bat hai, daith‍yoan ke nivas sh‍than aur saritaoan ke sh‍vami samudr ne samh‍poorn nadiyoan se apane man ka sandeh poochha. samudr ne kaha- nadiyoan! maian dekhata hooan ki jab badh ane ke karan tum log labalab bhar jati ho, tab vishalakay vrikshoan ko j d-mool aur shakhaoan sahit ukha dakar apane pravah mean baha lati ho; parantu unamean beant ka koee pe d nahian dikhayi deta. beant ka sharir to nahian ke barabar patala hai. usamean kuchh dam nahian hota hai aur vah tumh‍hare khas kinare par jamata hai; phir tum use n la saki, kh‍ya karan hai? kh‍ya tum avahelanavash use kabhi nahian layian athava usane tumh‍hara koee upakar kiya hai? is vishay mean tum sab logoan ka vichar maian sunana chahata hooan, kh‍ya karan hai ki beant ka vriksh tumh‍hare in tatoan ko chho dakar nahian ata hai? is prakar prashh‍n hone par ganga nadi ne saritaoan ke sh‍vami samunh‍dr se yah uth‍tam arpoorn, yuktiyukh‍t tatha man ko grahan karane vali bat kahi.

ganga nadi bolian- nadishh‍var! ye vriksh apane-apane sh‍than par ak dakar kh de rahate haian, hamare pravah ke samane mash‍tak nahian jhukate. is pratikool bartav ke karan hi unh‍hean nasht hokar apana sh‍than chho dana p data hai; parantu beant aisa nahian hai. beant nadi ke veg ko ate dekh jhuk jata hai, par doosare vriksh aisa nahian karate; at: saritaoan ka veg shanh‍t hone par pun: apane sh‍than mean hi sthit ho jata hai. beant samay ko pahachanata hai, usake anusar bartav karana janata hai, sada hamare vash mean rahata hai, kabhi uddanh‍data nahian dikhata aur anukool bana rahata hai. usamean kabhi ak d nahian ati; isiliye use sh‍than chho dakar yahaan nahian ana p data hai. jo paudhe, vriksh ya lata-gulh‍m hava aur pani ke veg se jhuk jate tatha veg shanh‍t hone par sir uthate haian, unaka kabhi parabhav nahian hota.

bhishh‍m ji kahate haian- yudhishthir! isi prakar jo raja bal mean badhe-chadhe tatha banh‍dhan mean dalane aur vinash karane mean samarth shatru ke pratham veg ko sir jhukakar nahian sah leta hai, vah shighr hi nasht ho jata. jo buddhiman raja apane tatha shatru ke sar-asar, bal tatha parakram ko janakar usake anusar bartav karata hai, usaki kabhi parajay nahian hoti hai. is prakar vidvan raja jab shatru ke bal ko apane se adhik samajhe, tab beant ka hi dhang apana le; arthat usake samane natamash‍tak ho jay. yahi buddhimani ka lakshan hai.

is prakar shrimahabharat shantiparv ke anh‍tagart rajadharmanushasan parv mean saritaoan aur samunh‍dr ka sanvad vishayak ek sau terahavaan adhh‍yay poora hua.
