janak ki ukti tatha raja nahush ke prashh‍noan ke utar mean bodhh‍yagita

bhishh‍m ji kahate haian- rajan! isi vishay mean shantabhav ko praph‍t hue videharaj janak ne jo udgar prakat kiya tha, us prachin itihas ka udaharan diya jata hai. (janak bole-) mere pas anant–sa dhan–vaibhav hai, phir bhi mera kuchh nahian hai. is mithilapuri mean ag lag jay to bhi mera kuchh nahian jalata. yudhishthir! isi prasang mean vairagy ko lakshh‍y karake bodhh‍y muni ne jo vachan kahe haian, unhean batata hooan, suno. kahate haian, kisi samay nahushanandan raja yayati ne vairagy shantabhav ko praph‍t hue shastr ke uth‍krishh‍t jnan se paritript param shant bodhh‍y rrishi se poochha-‘mahaprajn! ap mujhe aisa upadesh dijiye, jisase mujhe shanti mile. kaun–si aisi buddhi hai, jisaka ashray lekar ap shanti aur santosh ke sath vicharate haian?’.

bodhh‍y ne kaha- rajan! maian kisi ko upadesh nahian deta, balki svayan doosaroan se praph‍t hue upadesh ke anusar acharan karata hooan. maian apane ko mile hue upadesh ka lakshan bata raha hooan (jinase upadesh mila hai, un guruoan ka sanketamatr kar raha hooan), us par tum svayan vichar karo. piangala, kurar pakshi, sarp, van mean saanrag ka anveshan, ban banane vala aur kumari kanya- ye chh: mere guru haian.

bhishh‍m ji kahate haian- rajan! bodhh‍yoan ko apane guruoan se jo upadesh praph‍t hua tha, vah is prakar samajhana chahiye- asha b di prabal hai. vahi sabako du:kh deti hai. nirasha ke roop mean parinat karake piangala veshh‍ya sukh se so gayi. ( piangala asha ke tyag ka upadesh dene ke karan guru huee ). choanch mean maans ka tuk da liye u date hue kurur (krauanch) pakshi ko dekhakar doosare pakshi jo maans nahian liye hue the, use marane lage. tab usane us maans ke tukade ko th‍yag diya. at: pakshiyoan ne usaka pichha karana chhod diya.

is prakar amish ke tyag se krauanch pakshi sukhi ho gaya. bhogoan ke parityag ka upadesh dene ke karan kurur (krauanch) pakshi guru hua. ghar banane ka khatapat karana du:kh ka hi karan hai. usase kabhi sukh nahian milata. dekhoan, saanp doosaroan ke banaye hue ghar (bil) mean pravesh karake sukh se rahata hai. (at: aniket rahane–ghar–dvar ke chakh‍kar mean n p dane ka upadesh dene ke karan sarp guru hooa). jis prakar papiha pakshi kisi bhi prani se vair n karake yachanavritti se apana nirvah karate hai, usi prakar munijan bhikshavriti ka ashray le‍kar sukh se jivan vyatit karate haian (adroh ka upadesh dene ke karan papiha guru hua).

ek bar ek ban banane vale ko dekha gaya, vah apane kam mean aisa datachitt tha ki usake pas se nikali huee raja ki savari ka bhi use kuchh pata nahian chala (usake dvara ekagrachitata ka upadesh praph‍t hua, isaliye vah guru ho gaya). bahut manushh‍y ek sath rahean to unamean pratidin kalah hota hai aur do rahean to bhi unamean batachit to avashh‍y hi hoti hai; at: maian kumari kanh‍ya ke hath mean dharan ki huee shankh ki ek–ek choodi ke saman akela hi vicharooga.
