shukadevaji ne poochha-pitaji! brahmachary aur garhash‍thh‍y ashramoan mean jaise shash‍trokt niyam ke anusar chalana avashh‍yak hai, usi prakar is vanaprash‍th ashram mean bhi shash‍tokt niyam ka palan karate hue chalana chahiye. yah sab to maianne sun liya. ab maian yah janana chahata hooan, jo janane yogh‍y parabrahma paramath‍ma ko pana chahata ho, use apani shakti ke anusar us paramath‍ma ka chinh‍tan kaise karana chahiye ? vh‍yasaji ne kaha-beta! brahmachary aur grihash‍thashram ke dharmoan dvara chitt ka sansh‍kar (shodhan) karane ke ananh‍tar mukti ke liye jo vash‍tavik kartavh‍y hai, use batata hooan, tum yahaan ekagrachitt hokar suno. panktikram se sthit poovokt tin ashram brahmachary, grihash‍th aur vanaprash‍th mean chitt ke rag-dvesh adi doshoan ko pakakar-unh‍hean nashh‍t karake shighr hi sarvottam chaturth ashram sannh‍yas ko grahan kar le. beta! tum is sannh‍yas dharm ke niyamoan ko suno aur unh‍hean abhh‍yas mean lakar usi ke anusar bartav karo. sannh‍yasi ko chahiye ki vah siddhi praph‍t karane ke liye kisi ko sath n lekar akela hi sannh‍yas dharm ka palan kare. jo ath‍matath‍v ka sakshath‍kar karake ekaki vicharata rahata hai, vah sarvavh‍yapi hone ke karan n to sh‍vayan kisi ka th‍yag karata haian aur n doosare hi usaka th‍yag karate haian.

sannh‍yasi kabhi n to agni ki sh‍thapana kare aur n ghar ya math hi banakar rahe; keval bhiksha lene ke liye hi gaanv mean jay. vah doosare din ke liye anh‍n ka sangrah n kare. chitt vrittiyoan ko ekagr karake maunabhav se rahe. halaka aur niyamanukool bhojan kare tatha din-rat mean keval ek hi bar anh‍n grahan kare. bhikshapatr evan kamamanh‍dalu rakhe. vriksh ki j d mean soye ya nivas kare. jo dekhane mean sunh‍dar n ho, aisa vash‍tr dharan kare .kisi ko sath n rakhe aur sab praniyoan ki upeksha kar de. ye sab sannh‍yasi ke lakshan haian. jaise dare hue hathi bhagakar kisi jalashay mean pravesh kar jate haian, phir sahasa nikalakar apane poorv sh‍than ko nahian lautate usi prakar jis purush mean doosaroan ke kahe ninh‍dath‍mak ya prashansath‍mak vachan sama jate hai, parantu prath‍yuttar ke roop mean ve vapas pun: nahian lautate arthath jo kisi ki ki huee ninh‍da ya sh‍tuti ka koee uth‍tar nahian deta, vahi sannh‍yas ashram mean nivas kar sakata hai. sannh‍yasi kisi ki ninh‍da karane vale purush ki or aankh uthakar dekhe nahian, kabhi kisi ka ninh‍dath‍mak vachan sune nahian tatha visheshat: brahmanoan ke prati kisi prakar n kahane yogh‍y bat n kahe.

jisase brahmanoan ka hit ho, vaisa hi vachan sada bole. apani ninh‍da sunakar bhi chup rah jay – is maunavalamh‍ban ko bhavarog se chhootane ki dava samajhakar isaka sevan karata rahe. jo sada apane sarvavh‍yapi sh‍varoop se sthit hone ke karan akele hi samh‍poorn akash mean paripoorn sa ho raha hai tatha jo asang hone ke karan logoan se bhare hue sh‍than ko bhi soona samajhata hai, use hi devata log brahman (brahmajnani) manate hai. jo jis kisi bhi (vash‍tr-valh‍kal adi) vash‍tu se apana sharir dhak leta hai, samayapar jo bhi rookha-sookha mil jay, usi se bhookh mita leta hai aur jahaan kahian bhi so rahata hai, use devata brahmajnani samajhate hai.
