mahabharat: shanti parv: ekatrishatatam adhyay shlok 1-23 ka hindi anuvad
yudhishthir ne kaha– maharaj! ap mere hitaishi haian, apane mujh shishhy ke prati shishhy purushoan ke mat ke anusar is yogamarg ka yathochitaroop se varnan kiya. ab maian saankhhyavishayak samhpoorn vidhi poochh raha hooan. ap mujhe use batane ki kripa karean; khyoanki tinoan lokoan mean jo jnan hai, vah sab apako vidit hai. bhishhm ji ne kaha– yudhishthir! athmatattv ke janane vale saankhhyashashtr ke vidvanoan ka yah sookshhm jnan tum mujhase suno. ise eeshhvar koti ke kapil adi samhpoorn yatiyoan ne prakashit kiya hai. narashreshhth! is mat mean kisi prakar ki bhool nahian dikhayi deti. isamean gun to bahut-se haian; kiantu doshoan ka sarvatha abhav hai. vakhtaoan mean shreshhth nareshhvar! jo jnan ke dvara manushhy, pishach, rakshas, yaksh, sarp, ganhdharv, pitar, tiryaghyoni, garu d, marudgan, rajarshi, brahmarshi, asur, vishhvedev, devarshi,yogi, prajapati tatha brahma ji ke bhi samhpoorn durjay vishayoan ko sadosh janakar, sansar ke manushhyoan ka paramayukal tatha sukh ke paramatathv ka thik-thik jnan prapht kar lete haian aur vishayoan ki ichhchha rakhane vale purushoan ko samay-samay par jo dukh prapht hota hai, usako, tiryaghyoni aur narak mean p dane vale jivoan ke dukh ko, shvarg tatha ved ki phal-shrutiyoan ke samhpoorn gun-doshoan ko janakar jnanayog, saankhhyajnan aur yogamarg ke gun-doshoan ko bhi samajh lete hai tatha bharatananhdan! sathvagun ke das[1], rajogun ke nau [2], tamogun ke ath [3], buddhi ke sat[4], man ke chh: [5]aur akash ke paanch[6] guno ka jnan prapht karake buddhi ke doosare char [7], tamogun ke doosare tin [8], rajogunh ke doosare do[9] aur sathv gun ke pun: ek[10] gun ko janakar athma ki prapti karane vale marg- prakrit pralay tatha athmavichar ko thik-thik jan lete haian, ve jnan-vijnan se tatha mokshopayogi sadhanoan ke anushhthan se shuddhachit hue kalhyanamay saankhhyayogi param akash ko prapht hone vale sookshhm bhootoan ke saman mangalamay moksh ko prapht kar lete haian. netr roop-gun se sanyukht haian. ghranendriy ganhdh namak gun se samhbanhdh rakhati haian. shrotrendriy shabhd mean asakhth hai aur rasana rasagun mean. thvacha shparshanamak gun mean asakht hai. isi prakar vayuka ashray akash, moh ka ashray tamogun aur lobh ka ashray indriyoan ke vishay haian. gati ka adhar vishhnu, bal ka inhdr, udar ka agni tatha prithhvi devi ka adhar jal hai. jalaka tej, tej ka vayu, vayuka akash, akash ka ashray mahatathv arthath mahatathv ka kary ahankar hai aur ahankar ka adhishhthan samashti buddhi hai. buddhi ka ashray tamogun, tamogun ka ashray rajogun aur rajogun ka ashray sathvagun hai. sathvagun jivathma ke ashrit hai. jivathma ko bhagavan narayanadev ke ashrit samajho. bhagavan narayan ka ashray hai moksh(parabrahm) parantu moksh ka koee bhi ashray nahian hai (vah apani hi mahima mean pratishthit hai ). |

- ↑ pravatti tatha dukh: -ye do gun rajake hai.
