hiansa aur maansabhakshan ki ghor ninh‍da

vaishamh‍payan ji kahate haian- janamejay! tadananh‍tar mahatejash‍vi aur vakh‍taoan mean shreshh‍th raja yudhishthir ne banashayya par p de hue pitamah bhishh‍m se pun: prashh‍n kiya.

yudhishthir ne poochha- mahamate! devata, rrishi aur brahman vaidik praman ke anusar sada ahiansa dharm ki prashansa kiya karate haian. at: nripashreshh‍th! maian poochhata hooan ki man, vani aur kriya se bhi hiansa ka hi acharan karane vala manushh‍y kis prakar usake du:kh se chhutakara pa sakata hai?

bhishh‍m ji ne kaha- shatrusoodan! brahmavadi purushoan ne (man se, vani se tatha karm se hiansa n karana evan maans n khana- in) char upayoan se ahiansa dharm ka palan batalaya hai. inamean se kisi ek aansh ki bhi kami rah gayi to ahiansa dharm ka poornat: palan nahian hota. mahipal! jaise char pairoan vala pashu tin pairoan se nahian kh da rah sakata, usi prakar keval tin hi karanoan se palit huee ahiansa poornat: ahiansa nahian kahi ja sakati. jaise hathi ke pair ke chihn mean sabhi padagami praniyoan ke pad chihn sama jate haian, usi prakar poorvakal mean is jagat ke bhitar dharmat: ahiansa ka nirdesh kiya gaya hai arthat ahiansa dharm mean sabhi dharmoan ka samavesh ho jata hai. aisa mana gaya hai.

jiv man, vani aur kriya ke dvara hiansa ke dosh se lipt hota hai, kiantu jo kramash: pahale man se, phir vani se aur phir kriya dvara hiansa ka th‍yag karake kabhi maans nahian khata, vah poorvokh‍t tinoan prakar ki hiansa ke dosh se bhi mukh‍t ho jata hai. brahmavadi mahath‍maoan ne hiansa dosh ke pradhan tin karan batalaye haian- 'man' (maans khane ki ichh‍chha), 'vani' (maans khane ka upadesh) aur 'ash‍vad' (prath‍yaksh roop mean maans ka sh‍vad lena). ye tinoan hi hiansa dosh ke adhar haian. isalie tapasya mean lage hue manishi purush kabhi maans nahian khate haian.

shash‍troan mean bhi kaha gaya hai ki vishayoan ke ash‍vadan se unake prati asakti uth‍panh‍n hoti hai. sansh‍krit (masale adi dalakar sansh‍krit kiya hua), asansh‍krit (masala adi‍ ke sansh‍kar se rahit), pakh‍v, keval namak mila hua aur alona- ye maans ki jo-jo avash‍thaean hoti haian, unh‍hian-unh‍hian mean ruchi‍bhed se maansahari manushh‍y ka chitt asakh‍t hota hai. maansabhakshi moorkh manushh‍y svarg mean poornat: sulabh hone vale bheri, mridang aur vina ke divh‍y madhur shabh‍doan ka sevan kais kar sakeange; kh‍yoanki ve sh‍varg mean nahian ja sakate.
