yudhishthir ne poochha- satpurushoan mean shreshth pitamah! maian apase yah poochh raha hooan ki raja kis prakar praja ki raksha kare, jisase usako kisi ki hiansa n karani p de; vah ap mujhe batane ki kripa karean. bhishhm ji ne kaha- yudhishthir! is vishay mean raja satyavan ke sath unake pita dyumatsen ka jo sanvad hua tha, usi prachin itihas ka udaharan diya jata hai. hamane suna hai ki ek din satyavan ne dekha ki pita ki ajna se bahut-se aparadhi shooli par chadha dene ke liye le jaye ja rahe haian. us samay unhhoanne pita ke pas jakar aisi bat kahi, jo pahale kisi ne nahian kahi thi. ‘pitaji! yah saty hai ki kabhi oopar se dharm-sa dikhayi dene vala kary adharmaroop ho jata hai aur adharm bhi dharm ke roop mean parinat ho jata hai, tathapi kisi prani ka vadh karana bhi dharm ho- aisa kadapit nahian ho sakata’. dyumatsen ne kaha- beta satyavan! yadi aparadhi ka vadh n karana bhi kabhi dharm ho to adharm khya ho sakata hai? yadi chor-dakoo mare n jaean to praja mean varnasankarata aur dharmasankarata phail jay. kaliyug ane par to log ‘yah vashtu meri hai, isaki nahian hai’ aisa kahakar sidhe hi doosaroan ka dhan h dap leange. is tarah lokayatra ka nirvah asamhbhav ho jayega. yadi tum isaka koee samadhan janate ho, to mujhase batao. satyavan bole- pitaji! kshatriy, vaishhy tatha shoodr- in tinoan varnoan ko brahmanoan ke adhin kar dena chahiye. jab charoan varnoan ke log dharm ke banhdhan mean bandhakar usaka palan karane lageange to unaki dekha-dekhi doosare manushhy soot-magadh adi bhi dharm ka acharan kareange. inamean se jo bhi brahman ki ajna ke viparit acharan kare, usake vishay mean brahman ko raja ke pas jakar kahana chahiye ki "amuk manushhy meri bat nahian sunata hai." tab raja usi vhyakti ko danhd de. jo danhd-vidhan sharir ke paanchoan tattvoan ko alag-alag n kar sake arthat kisi ke pran n le, usi ka prayog karana chahiye. nitishashtr ki alochana aur aparadhi ke kary par bhali-bhaanti vichar kiye bina hi isake viparit koee danhd nahian dena chahie. raja dakuoan athava doosare bahut-se niraparadh manushhyoan ko mar dalata hai aur is prakar usake dvara mare gaye purush ke pita-mata, shtri aur putr adi bhi jivika ka koee upay n rah jane ke karan mano mar diya jate haian, at: kisi doosare ke apakar karane par raja ko bhali-bhaanti vichar karana chahiye. (jalhdabaji karake kisi ko pranadanhd nahian dena chahiye). dushht purush bhi kabhi sadhusang se sudharakar sushil ban jata hai tatha bahut-se dushht purushoan ki santane bhi achhchhi nikal jati haian. is liye dushhtoan ko pranadanhd dekar unaka moolochhchhed nahian karana chahie. kisi ki j d ukha dana sanatan dharm nahian hai. aparadh ke anuroop sadharan danhd dena chahiye, usi se aparadhi ke papoan ka prayashchit ho jata hai. |
