shooravir kshatriyoan ke kartavy ka tatha unaki atmashuddhi aur sadgati ka varnan


yudhishthir ne poochha- nareshvar! kshatriy dharm se badhakar papapoorn doosara koee dharm nahian hai; kyoanki raja kisi desh par chadhaee karane aur yuddh chhe dane ke dvara mahan janasanhar kar dalata hai. vidvanh! bharatashreshth! ab maian yah janana chahata hooan ki raja ko kis karm se punyalokoan ki prapti hoti hai; atah yahi mujhe bataiye. bhishmaji ne kaha- rajanh! papiyoan ko dand dene aur satpurushoan ko adarapoorvak apanane se tatha yajnoan ka anushthan aur dan karane se raja log sab prakar ke doshoan se chhootakar nirmal evan shuddh ho jate haian. jo raja vijay ki kamana rakhakar yuddh ke samay praniyoan ko kasht pahuanchate haian, ve hi vijay prapt kar lene ke bad punah sari praja ki unnati karate haian. ve dan, yajn aur tapake prabhav se apane sare pap nasht kar dalate haian; phir to praniyoan par anugrah karane ke liye unake puny ki vriddhi hoti hai. jaise khet ko nirane vala kisan jis khet ki niraee karata hai, usaki ghas adi ke sath-sath kitane hi dhan ke paudhoan ko bhi kat dalata hai to bhi dhan nasht nahian hota hai (balki niraee karane ke pashchath usaki upaj aur badhati hai).

isi prakar jo yuddh mean nana prakar ke astr-shastroan ka prahar karake raj sainik vadh karane yogy shatruoan ka anek prakar se vadh karate haian, raja ke us karm ka yahi poora-poora prayashchit hai ki us yuddh ke pashchath us rajy ke praniyoan ki punah sab prakar se unnati kare. jo raja samast praja ko dhanakshay, prananash aur duahkhoan se bachata hai, luteroan se raksha karake jivan-dan deta hai, vah praja ke liye dhan aur sukh dene vala parameshvar mana gaya hai. vah raja sampoorn yajnoan dvara bhagavan ki aradhana karake praniyoan ko abhay-dan dekar ihalok mean sookh bhogata hai aur paralok mean bhi indr ke saman svargalok ka adhikari hota hai. brahman ki raksha ka avasar ane par jo age badhakar shatruoan ke sath yuddh chhe d deta hai aur apane sharir ko yoop ki bhaanti nichhavar kar deta hai, usaka vah tyag anant dakshinaoan se yukt yajn ke hi tuly hai. jo nirbhay ho shatruoan par varnoan ki varsha karata aur svayan bhi banoan ka aghat sahata hai, us kshatriy ke liye us karm se badhakar devata log is bhootal par doosara koee kalyanakari kary nahian dekhate haian.

yuddhasthal mean us vir yoddha ki tvacha ko jitane shastr vidirn karate haian, utane hi sarvakamanapoorak akshay lok use prapt hote haian. samarabhoomi mean usake sharir se jo rakt bahata hai, us rakt ke sath hi sampoorn papoan se mukt ho jata hai. yuddh mean banoan se pi dit hua kshatriy jo-jo duahkh sahata hai, us-us kasht ke dvara usake tap ki hi uttarottar vriddhi hoti hai; aisi dharmajn purushoan ki manyata hai. jaise samast prani badal sak jivanadayak jal ki ichchha rakhate haian, usi prakar shooravir se apani raksha chahate hue darapok evan niche shreni ke manushy yuddh mean vir yoddhaoan ke pichhe kh de rahate haian. abhayakal mean saman hi us bhay ke samay bhi yadi koee shooravir us bhiroo purush ki sakushal raksha kar leta hai to usake prati vah apane anuroop upakar evan puny karata hai. yadi prishthavarti purush ko vah apane-jaisa n bana sake to bhi poorv kathit puny ka bhagi to hota hi hai.
