uttar disha ka varnan
  • garu d kahate haian- galav! is marg se jane par manushy ka pap se uddhar ho jata hai aur vah kalyanamay svargiy sukhoan ka upabhog karata hai; at: is uttaran [1] ke bal se is disha ko uttar disha kahate haian. (1)
  • galav! yah uttar disha utkrisht suvarn adi nidhiyoan ki adhishthan hai isalie bhi isaka nam uttar hai. yah uttar marg pashchim aur poorv dishaoan ka madhyavarti bataya gaya hai. (2)
  • dvijashreshth! is gauravashalini disha mean aise logoan ka vas nahian hai, jo saumy svabhav ke n ho, jinhoanne apane man ko vash mean n kiya ho tatha jo dharm ka palan n karate hoan. (3)
  • isi disha mean badarikashramatirth hai, jahaan sachchidanand svaroop shrinarayan, vijayashil narashreshth nar aur sanatan brahamaji nivas karate haian. (4)
  • uttar mean hi himalay ke shikhar par pralayakalin agni ke saman tejasvi aantaryami bhagavan maheshvar bhagavati uma ke sath nity nivas karate haian. (5)
  • ve bhagavan nar aur narayan ke siva aur kisi ki drishti mean nahian ate. samast munigan, gandharv, yaksh, siddh athava devataoan sahit indr bhi unaka darshan nahian kar pate haian. (6)
  • yahaan sahasatroan netroan, sahasatroan charanoan aur sahasatroan mastakoan vale ekamatr avinashi shriman bhagavan vishnu hi un mayavishisht maheshvar ka sakshatkar karate haian. (7)
  • uttar disha mean hi chandrama ka dvijaraj ke pad par abhishek hua tha. vedavettaoan mean shreshth galav! yahian akash se girati huee ganga ko mahadevaji ne apane mastak par dharan kiya aur unhean manushyalok mean chho d diya. (8)
  • yahian parvatidevi ne bhagavan maheshvar ko patiroop mean prapt karane ke lie kathor roop mean tapasya ki thi aur isi disha mean mahadevaji ko mohit karane ke lie kam prakat hua. phir usake oopar bhagavan shankar ka krodh hua. us avasar par giriraj himalay aur uma bhi vahaan vidyaman thian is prakar ye sab log vahaan ek hi samay mean prakashit hue.   • dvijashreshth! yahian mandakini nadi aur mandarachal haian. isi disha mean rakshasagan saugandhik van ki raksha karate haian. (12)
  • yahian hari-hari ghasoan se sushobhit kadalivan hai aur yahian kalpavriksh shobha pate haian. galav! isi disha mean sada sanyam niyam ka palan karane vale svachchhandachari siddhoan ke ichchhanusar bhogoan se sampann evan manonukool viman vicharate haian. (13)
  • isi disha mean aruandhatidevi aur saptrrishi prakashit hote haian. isi mean svati nakshatr ka nivas hai aur yahian usaka uday hota hai. (14)
  • isi disha mean brahamaji yajnanushthan mean pravrit hokar niyamit roop se nivas karate haian. nakshatr, chandrama tatha soory bhi sada isi mean paribhraman karate haian. (15)
  • dvijashreshth! isi disha mean dham nam se prasiddh satyavadi mahatma muni shrigangamahadvar ki raksha karate haian. unaki moorti, akriti tatha sanchit tapasya ka parinam kisi ko jnat nahian hota hai. galav! ve sahasatroan yugaantakal tak ki ayu ichchhanusar bhogate haian. (16-17)
