bhimasen ka raja ko bhukt duahkhoan ki smriti karate hue moh chho dakar man ko kaboo mean karake rajyashasan aur yajn ke liye prerit karana

vaishampayan ji kahate haian- rajanh! arjun ki bat sunakar atyant amarshashil tejasvi bhimasen dhairy dharan karake apane b de bhaee se kaha- 'rajanh! ap sab dharmoan ke jnata haian. apase kuchh bhi ajnat nahian hai. ham log apase sada hi sadachar ki shiksha pate haian. ham apako shiksha de nahian sakate. janeshvar! maianne kee bar man mean nishchay kiya ki- ab nahian bolooanga, nahian bolooga; parantu adhik duahkh hone ke karan bolana hi p data hai. ap meri bat sunean. apake is moh se sab kuchh sanshay mean p d gaya hai. hamare tan-man mean vyakulata aur nirbalata prapt ho gayi hai. apako sampoorn shastroan ke jnata aur is jagath ke raja hokar kyoan kayar manushy ke saman dinatavash moh mean p de hue haian. apako sansar ki gati aur agati donoan ka jnan hai. prabho! apase n to vartaman chhipa hai aur n bhavishy hi. maharaj! janeshvar! aisi sthiti mean apako rajy ke prati akrisht karane ka jo karan hai, use hi yahaan bata raha hooan. ap ekagrachitt hokar sunean. manushy ko do prakar ki vyadhiyaan hoti haian- ek sharirik aur doosari manasik. in donoan ki utpatti ek doosare ke ashrit hai. ek ke bina doosari ka hona sambhav nahian hai. kabhi sharirik vyadhi se manasik vyadhi hoti hai, isamean sanshay nahian hai. isi prakar kabhi manasik vyadhi se sharirik vyadhi ka hona bhi nishchit hi hai. jo manushy bite hue manasik athava sharirik duahkh ke liye baranbar shok karata hai, vah ek duahkh se doosare duahkh ko prapt hota hai. use do-do anarth bhogane p date haian. sardi, garmi aur vayu (kaph, pitt aur vat) ye tin sharirik gun haian. in gunoan ka samyavastha mean rahana hi svasthata ka lakshan bataya gaya hai.

un tinoan mean se yadi kisi ek ki vriddhi ho jay to usaki chikitsa batayi jati hai. ushn dravy se aur shit padarth se garmi ka nivaran hota hai. sattv, raj aur tam- ye tin manasik gun haian. in tinoan gunoan ka sam avastha mean rahana manasik svasthy ka laksh bataya gaya hai. inamean se kisi ek ki vriddhi hone par upachar bataya jata hai. harsh (sukh) ke dvara shok (rajogun) ka nivaran hota hai aur shok ke dvara harsh ka. koee sukh mean rahakar duahkh ki batean yad karana chahata hai aur koee duahkh mean rahakar sukh ka smaran karana chahata hai. kuroonandan! parantu ap n duahkhi hokar duahkh ki, n sukhi hokar sukh ki, n duahkh ki avastha mean sukh ki aur n sukh ki avastha mean duahkh ki hi batean yad karana chahate hai; kyoanki bhagy b da prabal hota hai athava maharaj! apaka svabhav hi aisa hai, jisase ap klesh uthakar rahate haian. kaurav-sabha mean panduputroan ke dekhate-dekhate jo ek vastradharini rajasvala krishna ko laya gaya tha, use apane apani aankhoan dekha tha. kya apako us ghatana ka smaran nahian hona chahiye? ap nagar se nikale gaye, apako mrigachhala pahanakar vanavas de diya gaya aur b de-b de jangaloan mean apako rahana p da. kya in sab batoan ka ap yad nahian kar sakate? jatasur se jo kasht prapt hua, chitrasen ke sath jo yuddh karana p da aur siandhuraj jayadrath ke karan jo apamanajanak duahkh bhogana p da- ye sari batean ap kaise bhool gaye?’
