brahmanoan ke mahattv ka varnan

yudhishthir ne poochha- pitamah! raja ke samh‍poorn krith‍yoan mean kisaka mahattv sabase adhik hai? kis karm ka anushh‍than karane vala raja ihalok aur paralok donoan mean sukhi hota hai?

bhishh‍m ji ne kaha- bharat! raj sianhasan par abhishikh‍t hokar rajh‍y ka shasan karane vale raja ka sabase pradhan kart‍vh‍y yahi hai ki vah brahmanoan ki seva-pooja kare. bharatashreshh‍th! akshay sukh ki ichh‍chha rakhane vale naresh ko aisa hi karana chahiye. raja vedajn brahmanoan tatha b de-boodhoan ka sada hi adar kare. nagar aur janapad mean rahane vale bahushrut brahmanoan ko madhur vachan bolakar, uttam bhog pradan kar tatha sadar shish jhukakar samh‍manit kare. raja jis prakar apani tatha apane putroan ki raksha karata hai, usi prakar in brahmanoan ki bhi raksha kare. yahi raja ka pradhan kartavh‍y hai, jis par use sada hi drishti rakhani chahiye. jo in brahmanoan ke bhi poojaniy hoan, un purushoan ka bhi susthir chitt se poojan kare; kh‍yoanki unake shanh‍t rahane par hi sara rashh‍tr shanh‍t evan sukhi rah sakata hai.

raja ke liye brahman hi pita ki bhaanti poojaniy, vanh‍daniy aur mananiy hai. jaise pr‍aniyoan ka jivan varsha karane vale inh‍dr par nirbhar hai, usi prakar jagat ki jivan-yatra brahmanoan par hi avalambit hai. ye sath‍y-parakrami brahman jab kupit hokar ugr roop dharan kar lete haian, us samay abhichar ya anh‍y upayoan dvara sankalh‍p matr se apane virodhiyoan ko bhash‍m kar sakate haian aur unaka sarvanash kar dalate haian. mujhe inaka anh‍t dikhayi nahian deta. inake liye kisi bhi disha ka dvar band nahian hai. ye jis samay krodh mean bhar jate haian, us samay davanal ki lapatoan ke saman ho jate haian aur vaisi hi dahak drishti se dekhane lagate haian. b de-b de sahasi bhi inase bhay manate haian, kh‍yoanki inake bhitar gun hi adhik hote haian. in brahmanoan se kuchh to ghas-phoos se dhake hue krip ki tarah apane tej ko chhipae rakhate haian aur kuchh nirmal akash ki bhaanti prakashit hote rahate haian.

kuchh hathi hote haian aur kuchh ruee ki tarah komal. inamean jo shreshh‍th purush hoan, unaka samh‍man karana chahiye; parantu jo shreshh‍th n hoan, unaki bhi ninh‍da nahian karani chahiye. in brahmanoan mean kuchh to ath‍yanh‍t shath hote haian aur doosare mahan tapash‍vi. bharatashreshh‍th! kitane hi brahman rajaoan tatha anh‍y logoan ke yahaan sab prakar ke kary karane mean samarth hote haian aur anek brahman nana prakar ke akar dharan karate haian. nana prakar ke karmoan mean sanlagh‍n tatha anek karmoan se jivika chalane vale un dharmajn evan sath‍purush brahmanoan ka sada hi gunagan karana chahiye.

nareshh‍var! prachin kal se hi ye mahabhag brahman log devata, pitar, manushh‍y, nag aur rakshasoan ke poojaniy haian. ye dvij n to devataoan, n pitaroan, n ganh‍dharvoan, n rakshasoan, n asuroan aur n pishachoan dvara hi jite ja sakate haian. ye chahean to jo devata nahian haian, use devata bana dean aur jo devata haian, unh‍hean bhi devath‍v se gira dean. ye jise raja banana chahean, vahi raja rah sakata hai. jise raja ke roop mean ye n dekhana cha‍hean, usaka parabhav ho jata hai.
