parasharagita - brahman aur shoodr ki jivika, ninh‍daniy karmoan ke th‍yag ki ajna, manushh‍yoan mean asurabhav ki uth‍patti aur bhagavan shiv ke dvara usaka nivaran tatha sh‍vadharm ke anusar kartavh‍yapalan ka adesh

parashar ji kahate haian- rajan! brahman ke yahaan pratigrah se mila hua, kshatriy ke ghar yuddh se jitakar laya hua, vaishh‍y ke pas nh‍yayapoorvak (kheti adi se) kamaya hua aur shoodr ke yahaan seva se praph‍t hua tho d़a-sa bhi dhan ho to usaki b di prashansa hoti hai tatha dharm ke kary mean usaka upabhog ho to vah mahan phal dene vala hota hai. shoodr ko tinoan varnoan ka nith‍y sevak bataya jata hai. yadi brahman jivika ke abhav mean kshatriy athava vaishh‍y ke dharm se jivan-nirvah kare to vah patit nahian hota hai; kiantu jab vah shoodr ke dharm ko apanata hai, tab tath‍kal patit ho jata hai. jab shoodr sevavritti se jivika n chala sake, tab usake liye bhi vh‍yapar, pashupalan tatha shilh‍pakala adi jivan-nirvah karane ki ajna hai. rangamanch par stri adi ke vesh mean utarakar nachana ya khel dikhana, bahuroopiye ka kam karana, madira aur maans bechakar jivika chalana tatha lohe aur cham de ki bikri karana - ye sab kam (sab ke liye) lok mean nindit mane gaye haian.

puranoan mean suna jata hai ki pahale adhikashan manushh‍y sanyami, dharmik tatha nh‍yayochit achar ka hi anusaran karane vale the. us samay aparadhiyoan ko dhikh‍kar matr ka hi danh‍d diya jata hai. rajan! is jagat mean sada manushh‍yoan ke dharm ki hi prashansa hoti ayi hai. dharm mean badhe-chadhe log is bhootal par keval sadagunoan ka hi sevan karate haian. tat! janeshh‍var! parantu us dharm ko asur nahian sah sake. ve kramash: badhate hue praja ke sharir mean sama gaye. tab prajaoan mean dharm ko nasht karane vala darp prakat hua. phir jab prajaoan ke man mean darp a gaya, tab krodh ka bhi pradurbhav ho gaya. rajan! tadananh‍tar krodh se akranh‍t hone par manushh‍yoan ke lajh‍jayukh‍t sadachar ka lop ho gaya. unaka sankoch bhi jata raha. isake bad unamean moh ki uth‍patti huee. moh se ghir jane par unamean pahale-jaisi vivekapoorn drishti nahian rah gayi; at: ve parash‍par ek-doosare ka vinash karake apane-apane sukh ko badhane ki cheshh‍tha karane lage. un big de hue logoan ko pakar dhikh‍kar ka danh‍d unh‍hean rah par lane mean saphal n ho saka. sabhi manushh‍y devata aur brahmanoan ka apaman karake manamane taur par vishay-bhogoan ka sevan karane lage. aisa avasar upasthit hone par samh‍poorn devata anek roopadhari, adhik gunashali, dhiraj sh‍vabhav deveshh‍var bhagavan shiv ki sharan mean gaye.
