kuroonandan! jin praniyoan par balatkar hua ho aur ve sharan mean aye hoan, unaka sankat se uddhar karane vala purush garhasthy-dharm ke palan se milane vale puny phal ka bhagi hota hai. charachar praniyoan ki sab prakar se raksha tatha unaki yathayogy pooja karane vale purush ko garhasthy-sevan ka phal prapt hota hai. kuntinandan! b di-chhoti patniyoan, bhaiyoan, putroan aur natiyoanki bhi jo raja aparadh karanepar dand aur achchhe kary karane par anugraharoop purooskar deta hai, yahi usake dvara garhasthy-dharm ka palan hai aur yahi usaki tapasya hai. purushasianh! poojan ke yogy suprasiddh atmajnani sadhuoan ki pooja tatha raksha grihasthashram ke puny phal ki prapti karane vali hai. bharatanandan yudhishthir! jo kisi bhi ashram mean rahane vale praniyoan ko apane ghar mean thaharakar unaka bhojan adi se satkar karata hai, us raja ke liye vahi garhasthy-dharmaka palan hai. jo purush vidhata dvara vihit dharm mean sthit hokar yatharth roop se palan karata hai, vah sabhi ashramoan ke nirdoansh phal ko prapt kar leta hai. kuntinandan yudhishthir! jis purushamean sthit hue sadgunoan ka kabhi nash nahian hota, us narashreshth ko sabhi ashramoan ke palan mean sthit bataya gaya hai.

yudhishthir! jo raja sthan, kul aur avastha ka man rakhate hue kary karata hai, vah sabhi ashramoan mean nivas karane ka phal pata hai. kuntikumar! purushasianh! deshadharm aur kuladharm ka palan karane vala raja sabhi ashramoan ke puny phal ka bhagi hota hai. naravyaghr naresh! jo samay-samay par sampatti aur upahar dekar samast praniyoanka samman karata rahata hai, vah sadhu purushoanke ashramamean nivas ka punyaphal pa leta hai. kuntinandan! jo raja manuprokt das dharmoan mean sthit hokar bhi sampoorn jagat ke dharm par drishti rakhata hai, vah sabhi ashramoan ke puny-phal ka bhagi hota hai. bharatanandan! jo dharmakushal manushy lok mean dharm ka anushthan karate haian, ve jis rajake rajy mean palit hote haian, us raja ko unake dharm ka chhatha aansh prapt hota hai. purushasianh! jo raja dharm mean hi raman karane vale dharmaparayan manavoan ki raksha nahian karate haian, ve unaki pap bator lete haian. nishpap yudhishthir! jo log is jagat mean rajaoan ke sahayak hoete haian, ve sabhi us rajy mean doosaroan dvara kiye gaye dharm ka aansh prapt kar lete haian. purushasianh! shastrajn vidvanh kahate haian ki ham log jis garhasthy-dharm ka sevan kar rahe haian, vah sabhi ashramoan mean shreshth evan pavan hai. usake vishayamean shastroan ka yah nirnay sabako vidit hai. jo manav samast praraniyoan ke prati apane saman hi bhav rakhata hai, dand ka tyag kar deta hai, krodh ki jit leta hai, vah is lok mean aur mrityuke pashchath paralok mean bhi sukh pata hai. rajadharm ek nauka ke saman hai.

vah nauka dharmaroopi samudr mean sthit hai. sattvagun hi us nauka ka sanchalan karane vala bal (karnadhar) hai, dharmashastr hi use baandhanevali rassi hai, tyagaroopi vayu roopi vayu ka sahara pakar vah marg par shighrata poorvak chalati hai, vah nav hi raja ko sansar samudr se par kar degi. manushy ke hriday mean jo-jo kamanaean sthit haian, un sab se jab vah nivritt ho jata hai, tab usaki vishuddh sattvagun mean sthiti hota hai aur isi samay use parabrahm paramatma ke svaroop ka sakshatkar hota hai. nareshvar! purushasianh! chittavrittiyoan ke nirodh roop yog se aur samabhav se jab antahkaran atyant shuddh evan prasann ho jata hai, tab praja palan parayan raja uttam dharm ke phal ka bhagi hota hai. yudhishthir! tum vedadhyayan mean sanlagn rahane vale, satkarm parayan brahmanoan tatha any sab logoan ke palan-poshan ka prayatn karo. bharatanandan! van mean aur vibhinn ashramoan mean rahakar jo log jitana dharm karate haian, unaki raksha karane se raja unase saugune dharm ka bhagi hota hai. pandav shreshth! yah tumhare liye nana prakar ka dharm bataya gaya hai. poorvajoan dvara acharit is sanatan-dharm ka tum palan karo. purushasianh pandunandan! yadi tum praja ke palan mean tatpar rahoge to charoan ashramoan ke, charoan varnoan ke tatha ekagrata ke dharm ko prapt kar loge.

is prakar shrimahabharat shantiparvan ke antargat rajadharmaannushasanaparvan mean charoan ashramoan ke dharm ka varnanavishayak chhachhathavaan adhyay poora hua.
