yudhishthir! vishal chaturangini sena ekatr kar lene ke bad bhi tumhean pahale sam niti ke dvara shu़tr se sandhi karane ka hi prayas karana chahiye. yadi vah saphal n ho to yuddh ke liye prayatn karana uchit hai.

bharatanandan! yuddh karake jo vijay prapt hoti hai, use nikrisht hi mana gaya hai. yuddh sambandhi vijay achanak prapt hoti hai ya daivechchha se; yah bat vicharaniy hi hoti hai. isaka pahale se koee nishvat nahian rahata hai. yadi vishal sena mean bhagad d machi hoti hai to use jal ke mahan veg ke saman tatha bhayabhit hue mahamrigoan ke saman rokana atyant kathin ho jata hai. vishal sena mrigoan ke jhu d ke saman hoti hai.

usamean kitane hi balavan vir kyoan n bhare ho, kuchh log bhagane lagate haian. yadyapi unhean bhagane ka karan nahian maloom rahata hai. ek-doosare ko janane vale, harsh aur utsah se paripoorn, pranoanka moh chho d dene vale tatha marane-marane ke dridh nishchay sean yukt pachas shooravir bhi sari shatru-sena ka sanhar kar sakate hai. achchhe kul mean utpann ,paraspar sagathitam tatha raja dvara sammanit paanch,chhah ya sat vir bhi yadi dridh nishchay ke sath yuddh sthal mean date rahean to shatruoan par bhali-bhaanti vijay pa sakate hai. jab tak kisi tarah sandhi ho sakati ho, tab tak yuddh ko svikar nahian karana chahiye. pahale samaniti se samajhave. isase n chale to bhed niti ke anusar shatruoan mean phoot dalean. isamean bhi saphalata n mile to dananiti ka prayog kare-dhan dekar shatru ke sahayakoan ko vash mean karane ka cheshta kare. in tinoan upayoan ke saphalan hone par ant mean yuddh ka ashray lena uchit bataya gaya hai. shatru ki sena ko dekhate hi kayaroan ko bhay satane lagata hai, mano unake oopar prajvalit vajr girane vala ho. ve sochate haian, n jane yah sena kisake oopar p degi? jo yuddh ko upasthit hua janakar usaki or dau d p date haian, un viroan ke sharir mean vijay ki asha se anandajanit pasine ke bindu prakat ho jate haian.

rajan! yuddh upasthit hone par sthavar- jangal praniyoan sahit samast desh hi vyathit ho uthata hai aur astroan ke pratap santapt hue dehadhariyoan ki majja bhi sookhane lagati hai. un deshavasiyoan ke prati kathorata ke sath-sath santvanapoorn madhur vachanoan ka baranbar prayog karana chahiye; anyatha keval vachanoan se pidi़t ho ve sab or se jakar shatruoan ke sath mil jate haian. shatru ke mitroan mean phoot dalane ke liye guptacharoan ko bhejana chahiye aur jo shatru se bhi balavan raja ho, usake sath sandhi karana shreshth hai. anyatha usako vaisi pida़ nahian di ja sakati, jaisi ki usake shatru ke sath sandhi karake di ja sakati hai. yuddh is prakar karana chahiye, jisase shatrupaksh sab or se sankat mean p d jay. kuntinandan! satpurushoan ko hi sada kshama karana ata hai, dushtoan ko nahi. kshama karane aur n karane ka prayojan batata hooan; ise sunoan aur samajhoan. jo raja shatruoan ko jit lene ke bad unake aparadh kshama kar deta hai, usaka yash badhata hai. usake prati mahan aparadh karane par bhi shatru us par vishvas karate haian. shambarasur ka mat hai ki pahale shatru ko pi da dvara atyant durbal karake phir usake prati kshama ka prayog karana thik hai; kyoanki yadi tedhi lak di ko bina garm kiye hi sidhi kiya jay to vah phir jyoan ki tyoan ho jati hai.
