mahabharat: udyog parv: shath-triansh (36 vaan) adhyay: shlok 1-13 ka hindi anuvad
dattatrey aur sadhhy devataoan ke sanvad ka ulhlekh karake mahakulin logoan ka lakshan batalate hue vidur ka dhriratashhtr ko samajhana
- viduraji kahate haian- rajan! is vishay mean log dattatrey aur sadhhy devataoan ke sanvadaroop is prachin itihas ka udaharan diya karate haian; yah mera bhi suna hua hai. (1)
- prachin kal ki bat hai, uttam vrat vale mahabuddhiman maharshi dattatreyaji hans (paramahans) roop se vichar kar rahe the; us samay sadhhy devataoan ne unase poochha. (2)
- sadhhy bole- maharshe! ham sab log sadhhy devata haian, keval apako dekhakar ham apake vishay mean kuchh anuman nahian kar sakate. hamean to ap shashtrajnan se yukht, dhir evan buddhiman jan p date haian; at: ham logoan ko apani vidvattapoorn udar vani sunane ki kripa karean. (3)
- paramahans ne kaha- sadhhyadevatao! maianne suna hai ki dhairy-dharan, manonigrah tatha sathy-dharmoan ka palan hi kartavhy hai; isake dvara purush ko chahiye ki hriday ki sari gaanth kholakar priy aur apriy ko apane athma ke saman samajhe. (4)
- doosaroan se gali sunakar bhi shvayan unhhean gali n de.[1] sahan karane vale ka roka hua krodh hi gali dene vale ko jala dalata hai aur usake punhy ko bhi le leta hai. (5)
- doosaroan ko n to gali de aur n unaka apaman kare, mitroan se droh tatha nich purushoan ki seva n kare, sadachar se hin evan abhimani n ho, rookhi tatha roshabhari vani ka parithyag kare. (6)
- is jagat mean rookhi batean manushhyoan ke marmashthan, haddi, hriday tatha pranoan ko daghdh karati rahati haian; isaliye dharmanuragi purush jalane vali rookhi batoan ka sada ke liye parithyag kar de. (7)
- jisaki vani rookhi aur shvabhav kathor hai, jo marmashthan par aghat karata hai aur vaghbanoan se manushhyoan ko pi da pahuanchata haian, use aisa samajhana chahiye ki vah manushhyoan mean mahadaridr hai aur vah apane mukh se daridrata athava maut ko baandhe hue dho raha hai. (8)
- yadi doosara koee is manushhy ko agni aur soory ke saman daghdh karane vale athyant tikhe vaghbanoan se bahut chot pahuanchave to vah vidvan purush chot khakar athyant vedana sahate hue bhi aisa samajhe ki vah mere punhyoan ko pushht kar raha hai. (9)
- jaise vashtr jis rang mean ranga jay,vaisa hi ho jata hai, usi prakar yadi koee sajhjan, asajhjan, tapashvi athava chor ki seva karata hai to vah unhhian ke vash mean ho jata hai. us par unhhian ka rang chadh jata hai. (10)
- jo shvayan kisi ke prati buri bat nahian kahata, doosaroan se bhi nahian kahalata, bina mar khaye shvayan n to kisi ko marata hai aur n doosaroan se hi maravata hai, mar khakar bhi aparadhi ko jo marana nahian chahata,[2] devata bhi usake agaman ki bat johate rahate haian. (11)
- bolane se n bolana hi achhchha bataya gaya hai,[3] sathy bolana vani ki doosari visheshata hai yani maun ki apeksha bhi adhik labhapadr hai. (sathy aur) priy bolana vani- ki tisari visheshata hai. yadi sathy aur priy ke sath hi dharm-samhmat bhi kaha jay, to vah vachan ki chauthi visheshata hai.[4].(12)
- manushhy jaise logoan ke sath rahata hai, jaise logoan ki seva karata hai aur jaisa hona chahata hai, vaisa hi ho jata hai. (13)
