jo purush yah samajhakar ki maian b da karyakushal hooan, pahale se hi apane kalhyan ka upay nahi karata, vah pathyuthpanhnamati mathshy ke saman pranasanshay ki sthiti mean p d jata hai. jo sankat ane se pahale hi apane bachav ka upay kar leta hai, vah ‘anagatavidhata‘ aur jise thik samay par hi athmaraksha ka koee upay soojh jata hai, vah ‘prathyuthpanhnamati’- ye do hi sukhapoorvak apani unhnati karate hai; parantu prathyek kary mean anavashhyak vilamhb karane vala ‘dirghasootri’ nashht ho jata kashhtha, kala, muhoort, din, rat, lav, mas, paksh, chh: rritu, sanvathsar aur kalhp–inhhean ‘kal’ kahate hai tatha prithhvi ko ‘desh’ kaha jata hai. inamean se desh ka to darshan hota hai, kiantu kal dikhayi nahian deta hai. abhishht manorath ki siddhi ke liye jis desh aur kal ko upayogi manakar usaka vichar kiya jata hai, usako thik–thik grahan karana chahiye. rrishiyoan ne dharmashashtr, arthashashtr tatha mokshashashtr mean in desh aur kal ko hi kary–siddhi ka pradhan upay bataya hai. manushhyoan ki kamana–siddhi mean bhi ye desh aur kal hi pradhan mane gaye hai. jo purush soch-samajhakar ya jan-boojhakar kam karane vala tatha satat savadhan rahane vala hai, vah abhishht desh aur kal ka thik–thik upayog karata hai aur unake sahayog se ichhchhanusar phal prapht kar leta hai. is prakar shrimahabharat shanti parv ke anhtargat apadhhdarmaparv mean shakulapakhhyanavishayak ek sau saiantisav aau adhhyay poora hua.
