markandey ji ne poochha- mahamune! kis karan se kanyaoan ko maangalik karmoan mean niyukt kiya jata hai?

naradaji ne kaha- kanyaoan mean sada lakshmi nivas karati haian. ve unamean nity pratishthit hoti haian; isaliye pratyek kanya shobha sampann, shubh karm ke yogy tatha mangal karmoan mean poojaniy hoti hai. jaise khan mean sthit hua ratn sampoorn kamanaoan evan phaloan ki prapti karane vala hota hai, usi prakar mahalakshmi svaroopa kanya sampoorn jagat ke liye mangal-karini hoti hai. is tarah kanya ko lakshmi ka sarvotkrisht roop janana chahiye. usase dehadhariyoan ko sukh aur santosh ki prapti hoti hai. vah apane sadachar ke dvara uchch kuloan ke charitr ki kasauti samajhi jati hai. jo manushy apane hi varn ki kanya ko vivah ke dvara lakar use patni ke sthan par pratishthit karata hai, usaki vah sadhvi patni havy-kavy pradan karane vale putr ko janm deti hai. sadhvi stri kul ki vriddhi karati hai. sadhvi stri ghar mean param pushtiroop hai tatha sadhvi stri ghar ki lakshmi hai, rati hai, moortimati pratishtha hai tatha santan parampara ki adhar hai.

markandey ji poochha- bhagavan! manushyoan ke sharir mean kaun-kaun-se tirth haian? maian yah janana chahata hooan. atah ap yatharth roop se mujhe bataiye.

narad ji ne kaha- manishi purush kahate haian, manushyoan ke hath mean hi paanch tirth haian. unake nam is prakar haian- 'devatirth', 'rrishitirth', 'pitritirth', 'brahmatirth' aur 'vaishnavatirth'. (aanguliyoan ke agrabhag mean devatirth hai. kanishtha aur anamika aanguli ke mool bhag mean arshatirth hai. isi ko kayatirth aur prajapatyatirth bhi kahate haian. aangushth aur tarjani ke madhy bhag mean pitritirth hai. aangushth ke mool bhag mean brahmatirth hai aur hatheli ke madhy bhag mean vaishnav tirth hai.) hath mean jo vaishnav tirth ka bhag hai, use sab tirthoan mean pradhan kaha jata hai, jahaan jal rakhakar achaman karane se charoan varno ke kul ki vriddhi hoti hai tatha devata aur pitaroan ke kary ki ihalok aur paralok mean vriddhi hoti hai.

markandey ji ne poochha- jo dharm ke adhikari haian, aise manushyoan ka man kabhi-kabhi dharm ke vishay mean sanshayapann ho jata hai. kya karane se unake dharmacharan mean vighn n p de? yah maian janana chahata hooan.

narad ji ne kaha- dhan aur nari donoan ki avastha ek-si hai. donoan hi manushyoan ko kalyan ke path par jane mean badha dete haian, unhean mohit kar lete haian. ratijanit amod-pramod se striyaan man ko har leti haian aur dhan bhogoan ke dvara dharm ko chaupat kar deta hai. dharmatma shrotriy brahman samast havy aur kavy ko pane ka adhikari hai. shreshth shrotriyoan ko diya hua havy-kavy prajvalit agni mean dali huee ahuti ke saman saphal hota hai.

bhishm ji kahate haian- is prakar rrishiyoan ke sath bat-chit karake mahatapasvi markandey ne narad ji ka satkar kiya aur svayan bhi ve unake dvara sammanit hue. tatpashchat rrishiyoan se vida lekar markandey muni apane ashram ko chale gaye tatha ve rrishi bhi tirthoan mean bhraman karane lage.
