‘atmabal hi dhan ka mool hai, isake viparit jo kuchh hai, vah mithya hai; kyoanki hemant rritu mean vrikshoan ki chhaya ke saman vah atma ki durbalata kisi bhi kam ki nahian hai. kuntikumar! jaise kisan adhik annarashi upajane ki lalasa se dhany ke alp bijoan ka bhoomi mean parityag kar deta hai, usi prakar shreshth arth pane ki ichchha se alp arth ka tyag kiya ja sakata hai. apako is vishay mean sanshay nahian karana chahiye. jahaan arth ka upayog karane par usase adhik ya saman arth ki prapti n ho, vahaan us arth ko nahian lagana chahiye, kyoanki vah (paraspar) gadhoan ke sharir ko khujalane ke saman vyarth hai. nareshvar! isi prakar jo manushy alp dharm ka parityag karake mahanh dharm ki prapti karata hai, vah nishchay hi buddhimanh hai. mitroan ke sampann shatru ko vidvanh purush apane mitroan dvara bhedaniti se usamean aur usake mitroan mean phoot dal dete haian, phir bhedabhav hone par mitr jab usako tyag dete haian, tab ve us durbal shatru ko apane vash mean kar lete haian.

rajanh! atyant balavanh purush bhi atmabal se hi yuddh karata hai, vah kisi any prayatn se ya prashansa dvara sab praja ko apane vash mean nahian karata. jaise madhumakkhiyaan sangathit hokar madhu nikalane vale ko mar dalati haian, usi prakar sarvatha sangathit rahane vale durbal manushyoan dvara balavanh shatru bhi mara ja sakata hai. rajanh! jaise bhagavanh soory prithvi ke ras ko grahan karate aur apani kiranoan dvara varsha karake un sab ki raksha karate haian, usi prakar ap bhi prajaoan se kar lekar unaki raksha karate hue soory ke hi saman ho jaiye. rajendr! hamor bap-dadoan ne jo kiya hai, vah dharmapoorvak prithvi ka palan bhi prachin kal se chala ane vala tap hi hai; aisa hamane suna hai. dharmaraj! kshatriy tapasya ke dvara vaise puny lokoan ko nahian prapt hota, jinhean vah apane liye vihit yuddh ke dvara vijay athava mrityu ko aangikar karane se prapt karata hai. ap par jo yah sankat aya hai, us asamambhav-si ghatana ko dekhakar log yah nishchayapoorvak manane lage haian ki soory se usaki prabha aur chandrama se usaki chaandani bhi door ho sakati hai. rajanh! sadharan log bhinn-bhinn sabhaoan mean sammilit hokar athava alag-alag samooh-ke-samooh ikatthe hokar apaki prashansa aur duryodhan ki nianda se hi sambandh rakhane vali batean karate haian.

maharaj! isake siva, yah bhi sunane mean aya hai ki brahman aur kuruvanshi ekatr hokar b di prasannata ke sath apaki satyapratijna ka varnan karate haian. unaka kahana hai ki apane kabhi n to moh se, n dinata se, n lobh se, n bhay se, n kamana se aur n dhan ke hi karan se kianchinmatr bhi asaty bhashan kiya hai. raja prithvi ko apane adhikar mean karate samay yuddhajanit hiansa adi ke dvara jo kuchh pap karata hai, vah sab rajy prapti ke pashchath bhari dakshina vale yajnoan dvara nasht kar deta hai. nareshvar! brahman ko bahut-se-gaanv aur sahasroan gauean dan mean dekar raja apane samast papoan se usi prakar mukt ho jata hai, jaise chandrama andhakar se.
