yudhishthir ne poochha- tat! kurushreshhth! ap varnoan ke samhbanhdh mean prithak-prithak yah bataiye ki kaisi shtri ke garbh se kaise putr uthpanhn hote haian aur kaun-se putr kisake hote haian? putroan ke nimitt bahut-si vibhinhn batean suni jati haian. rajan! is vishay mean ham mohit hone ke karan kuchh nishhchay nahian kar pate, at: ap hamare is sanshay ka nivaran karean. bhishhm ne kaha- jahaan pati-pathni ke sanyog mean kisi tisare ka vhyavadhan nahian hai arthat jo pati ke viry se hi uthpanhn hua hai, us ‘ananhtaraj’ arthat ‘auras’ putr ko apani atma hi samajhana chahiye. doosara putr ‘nirukhtaj’ hota hai. tisara ‘prasritaj’ hota hai. (nirukhtaj aur prasritaj donoan kshetraj ke hi do bhed haian.) patit purush ka apani shtri ke garbh se shvayan hi uthpanhn kiya hua putr chauthi shreni ka putr hai. isake siva ‘dattak’ aur ‘krit’ putr bhi hote haian. ye kul milakar chh: hue. satavaan hai ‘adhhyoodh’ putr (jo kumari avashtha mean hi mata ke pet mean a gaya aur vivah karane vale ke ghar mean akar jisaka janhm hua). athavaan ‘kanin’ putr hota hai. inake atirikht chh: ‘apadhhvansaj’ (anulom) putr hote haian tatha chh: ‘apasad’ (pratilom) putr hote haian. is tarah in sab ki sankhhya bis ho jati hai. bharat! is prakar ye putroan ke bhed bataye gaye. tumhhean in sab ko putr hi janana chahiye. yudhishthir ne poochha- dada ji! chh: prakar ke apadhhvansaj putr kaun-se haian tatha apasad kinhhean kaha gaya hai? yah sab ap mujhe yathartharoop se bataiye. bhishhm ji ne kaha- yudhishthir! brahman ke kshatriy, vaishy aur shoodr- in tin varnoan ki striyoan se jo putr uthpanhn hote haian, ve tin prakar ke apadhhvansaj kahe gaye haian. bharat! kshatriy ke vaishhy aur shoodr jati ki striyoan se jo putr hote haian, ve do prakar ke apadhhvansaj haian tatha vaishhy ke shoodr jati ki shtri se jo putr hota hai, vah bhi ek apadhhvansaj hai. in sab ka isi prakaran mean dighdarshan karaya gaya hai. is prakar ye chh: apadhhvansaj arthat anulom putr kahe gaye haian. ab ‘apasad’ arthat 'pratilom’ putroan ka varnan suno. brahani, kshatriya tatha vaishhya- in varnoan ki striyoan ke garbh se shoodr dvara jo putr uthpanhn kiye jate haian, ve kramash: chanhdal, vrathy aur vaidy kahalate haian. ye apasadoan ke tin bhed hai. brahmani aur kshatriya ke garbh se vaishhy dvara jo putr uthpanhn kiye jate haian, ve kramash: magadh aur vamak nam vale do prakar ke apasad dekhe gaye haian. kshatriy ke ek hi vaisa putr dekha jata hai, jo brahmani se uthpanhn hota hai. usaki soot sanjna hai. ye chh: apasad arthat pratilom putr mane gaye haian. nareshhvar! in putroan ko mithhya nahian bataya ja sakata. yudhishthir ne poochha- pitamah! kuchh log apani pathni ke garbh se uthpanhn hue kisi bhi prakar ke putr ko apana hi putr manate haian aur kuchh log apane viry se uthpanhn hue putr ko hi saga putr samajhate haian. khya ve donoan saman koti ke putr haian? in par kisaka adhikar hai? inhhean janhm dene vali shtri ke pati ka ya garbhadhan karane vale purush ka? yah mujhe bataiye. bhishhm ji ne kaha- rajan! apane viry se uthpanhn hua putr to saga putr hai hi, kshetraj putr bhi yadi garbhashthapan karane vale pita ke dvara chho d diya gaya ho to vah apana hi hota hai. yahi bat samay-bhedan karake adhhyoodh putr ke vishay mean bhi samajhani chahiye. tathpary yah ki viry dalane vale purush ne yadi apana shvathv hata liya ho, tab ve kshetraj aur adhhyoodh putr kshetrapati ke hi mane jate haian anhyatha un par viryadata ka hi shvathv hai. |
