yudhishthir ka arjun se antarik khed prakat karate hue apane lie rajy chho dakar van mean chale jane ka prastav karana

vaishampayan ji kahate haian- rajanh dharmatma raja yudhishthir chitt shok se vyakul ho utha tha. ve maharathi karn ko yad karake duahkh se santat ho shok mean doob gaye. duahkh aur shok se aanvisht ho ve baranbar lanbi saans khianchane lage aur arjun ko dekhakar shok se pi dit ho is prakar bole. maangate hue apana jivan-nirvah kar lete to aj apane kutumb ko nirvesh karake ham is durdasha ko prapt nahian hote. hamare shatruoan ka manorath poorn hua (kyoanki ve hamare kul ka vinash dekhakar prasann hoange). kauravoan ka prayojan to unake jivan ke sath hi samapt ho gaya. atmiyajanoan ko marakar svayan hi apani hatya karake ham kaun-sa dharm ka phal prapt kareange? kshatriyoan ke achar, bal, purusharth aur amarsh ko dhikkar hai! jinake karan ham aisi vipattiyoan mean p d gaye.

kshama, man aur indriyoan ka sanyam, bahar-bhitar ki shuddhi, vairagy, eershya ka abhav, ahiansa aur saty bhashan- ye van vasiyoan ke nity dharm hi shreshth haian. ham log to lobh aur moh ke karan rajy labh ke sukh ka anubhav karane ki ichchha se dambh aur abhiman ka ashray lekar is durdasha mean phans gaye haian. jab hamane prithvi par vijay ki ichchha rakhane vale apane bandhu-bandhavoan ko mara gaya dekh liya, tab hamean is samay tinoan lokoan ka rajy dekar bhi koee prasann nahian kar sakata. hay! mah logo ne is tuchchh prithvi ke liye avadhy rajaoan ki bhi hatya ki aur ab unhean chho dakar bandhu-bandhavoan se hin ho arth-bhrasht ki bhati jivan vyatit kar rahe haian. jaise maans ke lobhi kuttoan ko ashubh ki prapti hoti hai, usi prakar rajy mean asakt hue ham logoan ko bhi anisht prapt hua hai. atah hamare liye maans-tuly rajy ko pana abhisht nahian hai, usaka parityag hi abhisht hona chahiye.
