jiv ki satta tatha nityata ko yuktiyoan se siddh karana

bhrigu ji ne kaha- brahman! jiv ka tatha usake diye hue dan evan kiye hue karm ka bhi kabhi nash nahian hota hai. jiv to doosare sharir mean chala jata hai, keval usaka chhoda़ hua sharir hi yahaan nasht hota hai. sharir ke ashray se rahane vala jiv usake nasht hone par bhi nasht nahian hota hai. jaise samidhaoan ke ashrit huee ag unake jal jane par bhi dekhi jati hai, usi prakar jiv ki satta ka bhi prath‍yaksh anubhav hota hai.

bharadvaj ne poochha- bhagavan! yadi agni ke saman jiv ka nash nahian hota to eeandhan ke jal jane par vah bhi to bujh hi jati hai; phir usaki to up‍labdhi nahian hoti hai. at: maian eeandhanarahit bujhi huee ag ko yahi samajhata hooan ki vah nasht ho gayi; kyoanki jisaki gati, praman athava sthiti nahian hai, usaka nash bhi manana p data hai. yahi dasha jiv ki bhi hai. bhrigu ji ne kaha- mune! samidhaoan ke jal jane par agni ka nash nahian hota. vah akash mean avyakt roop se sthit ho jati hai, isaliye usaki upalabdhi nahian hoti, kyoanki bina kisi ashray ke agni ka grahan hona atyant kathin hai. usi prakar sharir ko tyag dene par jiv akash ki bhaanti sthit hota hai. vah ath‍yant sookshh‍m hone ke karan bujhi huee ag ke saman anubhav mean nahian ata, parantu rahata avashh‍y hai; isamean sanshay nahian hai. agni pranoan ko dharan karati hai. jiv ko us agni ke saman hi jyotirmay samajho. us agni ko vayu deh ke bhitar dharan kiye rahati hai. shh‍vas ruk jane par vayu ke sath-sath agni bhi nasht ho jati hai. us shariragni ke nasht hone par achetan sharir prithh‍vi par girakar parthiv bhav ko praph‍t ho jata hai; kyoanki pri‍thh‍vi hi usaka adhar hai. samast sthavaroan aur jangamoan ki pranavayu akash ko praph‍t hoti hai aur agni bhi us vayu ka hi anusaran karati hai. is prakar akash, vayu aur agni- ye tin tattv ekatr ho jate haian aur jal tatha prithh‍vi do tattv bhoomi par hi rah jate haian. jahaan akash hota hai, vahian vayu ki sthiti hoti hai aur jahaan vayu hoti hai, vahian agni bhi rahati hai. ye tinoan tattv yadyapi nirakar haian tathapi dehadhariyoan ke shariroan mean sthit hokar moortiman samajhe jate haian.

bharadvaj ne poochha- nishh‍pap munivar! yadi dehadhariyoan ke sharir mean keval agni, vayu, bhoomi, akash aur jal tattv hi vidyaman hai to unamean rahane vale jiv ke kya lakshan haian? yah mujhe bataiye. praniyoan ka sharir paanch bhautik hai. paanch vishayoan mean isaki rati haian. isame paanch jnanendriyaan aur chitt upalabh‍dh hote haian. isamean rahane vale jiv ka svaroop kaisa hai; is bat ko maian janana chahata hooan. rakh‍t aur maans ke samooh, charbi, na di aur haddiyoan ke sangraharoopi is sharir ko chirane-pha dane par isake bhitar koee jiv nahian upalabdh hota. yadi is paanch bhautik sharir ko jivarahit man liya jay, tab prashh‍n yah hota hai ki sharir athava man mean pi da hone par usake kasht ka anubhav kaun karata hai?
