apath‍kal mean raja ke dharm ka nishh‍chay tatha uth‍tam brahmanoan ke sevan ka adesh


yudhishthir ne poochha- yadi mahapurushoan ke liye bhi aisa bhanyakar karm (sankat kal mean) kartavh‍y roop se bata diya gaya to durachari dakuoan aur luteroan ke dushh‍karmoan ki kaun-si aisi sima rah gayi hai, jisaka mujhe sada hi parith‍yag karana chahiye? (isase adhik ghor karm to dasyu bhi nahian kar sakate) apake muanh se yah upakhh‍yan sunakar maian mohit evan vishadagrash‍t ho raha hooan. apane mera dharmavishayak uth‍sah shithil kar diya. maian apane man ko baranbar samajha raha hooan to bhi ab kadapi isamean dharmavishayak udyam ke liye uth‍sah nahian pata hooan.

bhishh‍m ji ne kaha- vath‍s! maianne keval shastr se hi sunakar tumh‍hare liye yah dharmopadesh nahian kiya hai. jaise anek sh‍than se anek prakar ke phooloan ka ras lakar makkhiyaan madhu ka sanchay karati haian, usi prakar vidvanoan ne yah nana prakar ki buddhiyoan (vicharoan) ka sankalan kiya hai (aisi buddhiyoan ka kadachith sankatakal mean upayoang kiya ja sakata hai. ye sada kam mean lene ke liye nahian kahi gayi haian; at: tumh‍hare man mean moh ya vishad nahian hona chahiye ) yudhishthir! raja ko idhar-udhar se nana prakar ke manushh‍yoan ke nikat se bhinh‍n-bhinh‍n prakar ki buddhiyaan sikhani chahiye. use ek hi shakha vale dharm ko lekar nahian baithe rahana chahiye. jis raja mean sankat ke samay yah buddhi sh‍phurit hoti hai, vah ath‍maraksha ka koee upay nikal leta hai.

kuroonanh‍dan! dharm aur satpurushoan ka achar- ye buddhi se hi prakat hote haian aur sada usi ke dvara jane jate haian. tum meri is bat ko achh‍chhi tarah samajh lo. vijay ki abhilasha rakhane vale evan buddhi mean shreshth sabhi raja dharm ka acharan karate haian. at: raja ko idhar-udhar se buddhi ke dvara shiksha lekar dharm ka bhalibhaanti acharan karana chahiye. ek shakha vale (ekadeshiy) dharm se raja ka dharm-nirvah nahian heata. jisane pahale adhh‍yayan kal mean ekadeshiy dharmavishayak buddhi ki shiksha li, us durbal raja ko poorn prajna kahaan se praph‍t ho sakati hai? ek hi dharm ya karm kisi samay dharm mana jata hai aur kisi samay adharm. usaki jo yah do prakar ki sthiti hai, usi ka nam dvaidh hai. jo is dvividhatattv ko nahian janata, vah dvaidhamarg pahuanchakar sanshay mean p d jata hai. bharatanandan! buddhi ke dvaidh ko pahale hi achh‍chhi tarah samajh lena chahiye. buddhiman purush vichar karate samay pahale apane prath‍yek kary ko guph‍t rakhakar use praramh‍bh kare; phir use sarvatr prakashit kare; anh‍yatha usake dvara acharan mean laye hue dharm ko log kisi aur hi roop mean samajhane lagate haian. kuchh log yatharth jnani heate haian aur kuchh log mithh‍ya jnani, is bat ko thik-thik samajhakar raja sath‍yajnan samh‍panh‍n sath‍purushoan ke hi jnan ko grahan karate haian. dharmadrohi manushh‍y shastroan ki pramanikata par daka dalate haian, unh‍hean agrahy or amanh‍y batate haian. ve arthajnan se shoonh‍y manushh‍y arthashastr ki vishamata ka mithya prachar karate haian.
