tridanh‍d dharan karana, maun rahana, sir par jata ka bojh dhona, mooanchh mu dana, sharir mean valkal aur mrigacharm lapete rahana, vrat ka acharan karana, nahana, agnihotr karana, van mean rahana aur sharir ko sukha dena-ye sabhi bhav yadi shuddh n hoan to vh‍yarth haian.

rajenh‍dr! chakshu adi indriyoan ke ahar ko chho d dena kathin nahian hai; kh‍yoanki indriyoan ke chhahoan vishayoan ka upabhog n karane se vah apane ap sugamata se ho jata hai, parantu unamean se man b da vikari hai, is karan bhav ki shuddhi ke bina usako vash mean karana ath‍yanh‍t dushh‍kar hai. jo man, vani, kriya aur buddhi dvara kabhi pap nahian karate haian, ve hi mahath‍ma tapash‍vi haian. sharir ko sukha dena hi tapash‍ya nahian hai. jisane vrat, upavas adi ke dvara sharir ko to shuddh kar liya aur jo nana prakar ke papakarm bhi nahian karata, kiantu jisake man mean apane kutumh‍bijanoan ke prati daya nahian ati, usaki vah nirdayata usake tap ka nash karane vali hai; keval bhojan chho d dene ka hi nam tapash‍ya nahian hai. jo niranh‍tar ghar par rahakar bhi pavitr bhav se rahata hai, sadgunoan se vibhooshit hota hai aur jivan bhar sab praniyoan par daya rakhata hai, use muni hi samajhana chahiye; vah samh‍poorn papoan se mukh‍t ho jata hai. bhojan chho dane adi se papakarmoan ka shodhan ho jata ho, aisi bat nahian hai. haan, bhojan th‍yag dene se yah rakh‍t maans se lipa hua sharir avashh‍y kshin ho jata hai.

shash‍troan dvara jinaka vidhan nahian kiya gaya hai, aise kary karane se keval kh‍lesh hi hath lagata hai, unase pap nashh‍t nahian kiye ja sakate. agnihotr adi shubhakarm bhavashoonh‍y arthath shraddharahit manushh‍y ke papakarmoan ko dagh‍dh nahian kar sakate. manushh‍y punh‍y ke prabhav se hi uttam gati ko praph‍t hote haian. upavas bhi punh‍y se arthat nishh‍kam bhav se hi shuddhi ka karan hota hai. (bina shuddh bhav ke) keval phal-mool khane, maun rahane, hava pine, sir muan dane, ek sh‍than par kuti banakar rahane, sir par jata rakhane, vedi par sone, nith‍y upavas, agnisevan, jalapravesh tatha bhoomishayan karane se bhi shuddhi nahian hoti hai.

tattvajnan ya sath‍karm se hi jara, mrith‍yu tatha rogoan ka nash hota hai aur uttam pad (mukti) ki prapti hoti hai. jaise ag mean jale hue bij phir nahian ugate haian, usi prakar jnan ke dvara avidya adi kh‍leshoan ke nashh‍t ho jane par ath‍ma ka pun: unase sanyog nahian hota. jivath‍ma se parith‍yakt hone par sare sharir kath aur divar ki bhaanti j davath hokar mahasagar mean uthe hue phenoan ki tarah nashh‍t ho jate haian, isamean sanshay nahian hai. ek ya adhe shh‍lok se bhi yadi samh‍poorn bhootoan ke hridayadesh mean shayan karane vale paramath‍ma ka jnan ho jaye, to usake liye samh‍poorn shash‍troan ke adhh‍yayan ka prayojan samaph‍t ho jata hai.
