yah vedajnan kartavy aur akartavy ki shiksha dene vala hai, vachy aur avachy ka bodh karane vala hai. yadi sansar mean sadachar ki shiksha dene vali shruti n ho to manushy bhi pashuoan ke saman hi manamani cheshta karane lagean. vedoan ke dvara hi yajn adi karmoan ka arambh kiya jata hai. yajnaphal ke sanyog se devalok ki samriddhi badhati hai. isase devata manushyoan par prasann hote haian. is prakar prithvi aur svargalok donoan ek-doosare ki unnati mean sada sahayogi hote haian. atah tum yah achchhi tarah samajh lo ki ved hi dharm ki pravritti dvara sampoorn jagath ko dharan karane vala hai. jivoan ke liye is triloki mean jnan se badhakar doosari koee vastu nahian hai. sampoorn vedoan ka yatharth jnan prapt karake dvij kritakrity ho jata hai aur sadharan manushyoan ki apeksha ooanchi sthiti mean pahuanchakar devata ke saman prakashit hone lagata hai. jaise hava badaloan ko u dakar chhinn-bhinn kar deti hai, usi prakar vedashastrajanit jnan kam, krodh, bhay, darp aur bauddhik ajnan ko bhi shighr hi door kar deta hai. jnanavan purush ke dvara kiya hua tho da-sa dharm bhi mahan ban jata hai aur ajnanapoorvak kiya hua mahan dharm bhi nishphal ho jata hai.

uma ne poochha- bhagavan! kuchh manushyoan ko poorvajanm ki batoan ka smaran hota hai. ve kisaliye poorv sharir ke vrittant ko janate hue janm lete haian?

shrimaheshvar ne kaha- devi! maian tumhean tattv ki bat bata raha hooan, ekagrachitt hokar suno. jo manushy sahasa mrityu ko prapt hokar phir kahian sahasa janm le lete haian, unaka purana abhyas ya sanskar kuchh kal tak bana rahata hai. isaliye ve lok mean poorvajanm ki batoan ke jnan se yukt hokar janm lete haian aur jatismar (poorvajanm ka smaran karane vale) kahalate haian. phir jyoan-jyoan ve badhane lagate haian, tyoan-tyoan unaki svapn-jaisi vah purani smriti nasht hone lagati hai. aisi ghatanaean moorkh manushyoan ko paralok ki satta par vishvas karane mean karan banati haian.

uma ne poochha- bhagavan! kee manushy marane ke bad bhi phir usi sharir mean lautate dekhe jate haian. isaka kya karan hai?

shrimaheshvar ne kaha- shobhane! vah karan maian batata hooan, suno. prani bahut haian aur mrityukal ane par sabhi ka apane pranoan se viyog ho jata hai. dharmik yamadoot kabhi-kabhi kee manushyoan ke ek hi nam hone ke karan mohavash ek ke badale doosare ko pak d le jate haian, parantu yamaraj nirvikar bhav se dootoan ke dvara kiye gaye aur nahian kiye gaye, sabhi karyoan ko janate haian. atah sanyamanipuri mean jane par bhool se gaye hue manushy ko ekamatr yamaraj phir chho d dete haian, atah ve apane prarabdh karm ka shesh bhag bhogane ke liye punah laut ate haian. ve hi manushy lautate haian, jinaka karm-bhog samapt nahian hua hota hai.

uma ne poochha- bhagavan! sone matr se praniyoan ko svapn ka darshan hone lagata hai. yah unaka svabhav hai ya aur koee bat hai? yah mujhe batane ki kripa karean.

shrimaheshvar ne kaha- priye! soye hue praniyoan ke man ki jo cheshta hai, usi ko svapn kahate haian. svapn mean vicharata hua man bhoot aur bhavishy ki ghatanaoan ko dekhata hai. atah un ghatanaoan ke dekhane mean praniyoan ke liye svapnadarshan nimitt banata hai.

devi! tumhean svapn ka vishay bataya gaya, ab aur kya sunana chahati ho?
