mahabharat: bhishm parv: trish adhyay: shlok 35-43 ka hindi anuvad shrimadbhagavadgita adhyay 6 shribhagavanh bole- he mahabaho! ni:sandeh man chanchal aur kathinata se vash mean hone vala hai; parantu he kuantiputr arjun! yah abhhyas[1] aur vairaghy se[2]vash mean hota hai. sanbandh- yahaan yah jijnasa hoti hai ki man ko vash mean n kiya jay, to khya hani hai; is par bhagavanh kahate haian- jisaka man vash mean kiya hua nahian hai, aise purush dvara yog dushhpraphy hai[3] aur vash mean kiye hue man vale[4] prayathnashil purush dvara[5] sadhan se usaka prapht hona sahaj hai- yah mera mat hai. sanbandh-yogasiddhi ke liye man ko vash mean karana param avashhyak batalaya gaya. is par yah jijnasa hoti hai ki jisaka man vash mean nahian haian, kiantu yog mean shraddha hone ke karan jo bhagavathprapti ke liye sadhan karata hai, usaki marane ke bad khya gati hoti hai; isi ke liye arjun poochhate haian. arjun bole- he shrikrishhn! jo yog mean shraddha rakhane vala hai, kiantu sanyami nahian hai, is karan jisaka man aantakal mean yog se vichalit ho gaya hai,[6] aisa sadhak yog ki siddhi ko arthath bhagavathsakshathkar ko n prapht hokar kis gati ko prapht hota hai?[7] he mahabaho! khya vah bhagavathprapti ke marg mean mohit aur ashrayarahit purush chhinhn-bhinn badal ki bhaanti donoan or se bhrashht hokar nashht to nahian ho jata?[8] he shrikrishhn! mere is sanshay ko samhpoornaroop se chhedan karane ke liye ap hi yoghy haian, khyoanki apake siva doosara is sanshay ka chhedan karane vala milana samhbhav nahian hai[9] shribhagavanh bole- he parth! us purush ka n to is lok mean nash hota hai or n paralok mean hi; khyoanki he phyare! athmoddhar ke liye arthath bhagavathprapti ke liye karm karane vala koee bhi manushhy durgati ko prapti nahian hota.[10] yogabhrashht purush[11] punhyavanoan ke lokoan ko arthath shvargadi uttam lokoan ko prapht hokar, unamean bahut varshoan tak nivas karake phir shuddh acharan vale shrimanh purushoan ke ghar mean janhm leta hai. sanbandh-sadharan yogabhrashht purushoan ki gati batalakar ab asaktihit uchhch shreni ke yogabhrashht purushoan ki vishesh gati ka varnan karate haian- athava[12] vairaghyavanh purush un lokoan mean n jakar jnanavanh yogiyoan ke hi kul mean janhm leta hai; parantu is prakar ka jo yah janhm hai so sansar mean ni:sandeh athyant durlabh hai[13] vahaan us pahale sharir mean sangrah kiye hue buddhi-sanyog ko arthath samabuddhi roop yog ke sanshkaroan ko anayas hi prapht ho jata hai aur he kurunandan! usake prabhav se bhi badhakar prayathn karata hai. sanbandh-ab pavitr shrimanoan ke ghar mean janhm lene vale yogabhrashht purush ki paristhiti ka varnan karate hue yog ko janane ki ichhchha ka mahattv batalate haian. |

- ↑ man ko kisi lakshhy vishay mean tadakar karane ke liye, use anhy vishayoan se khianch-khianchakar bar-bar us vishay mean lagane ke liye kiye jane vale prayathn ka nam hi abhhyas hai. yah prasang paramathma mean man lagane ka hai, atev paramathma ko apana lakshhy banakar chittavrittiyoan ke pravah ko bar-bar unhhian ki lagane ka prayathn karana yahaan 'abhhyas' hai. isaka vishtar gita ke barahavean adhhyay ke navean shlok mean dekhana chahiye.

vairaghy ki prapti ke liye anekoan sadhan haian, unamean se kuchh ye haian-- sansar ke padarthoan mean vichar ke dvara ramaniyata, prem aur sukh ka abhav dekhana.
- unhhean janhm-mrithyu, jara-vhyadhi adi du:kh-doshoan se yukht, anithy aur bhayadayak manana.
- sansar ke aur bhagavanh ke yatharth tatthv ka niroopan karane vale sath-shashtroan ka adhhyayan karana.
- param vairaghyavanh purushoan ka sang karana, sang ke abhav mean unake vairaghyapoorn chitr aur charitroan ka shmaran, manan karana.
- sansar ke toote hue vishal mahaloan, viran hue nagaroan aur gaanvoan ke khandaharoan ko dekhakar jagath ko kshanabhangur samajhana.
- ekamatr brahm ki hi akhanhd, aditiy satta ka bodh karake anhy sabaki bhinhn satta ka abhav samajhana.
- adhikari purushoan ke dvara bhagavanh ke akathaniy gun, prabhav, tatthv, prem, rahashy tatha unake lila-charitroan ka evan divhy saunhdary-madhury ka bar-bar shravan karana, unhhean janana aur un par poorn shraddha karake mughdh hona.
sab prakar ke yogoan ke parinamaroop samabhav ka phal jo paramathma ki prapti hai, usaka vachak yahaan 'yog-sansiddhimh' pad hai.
