panchahabhootoan ke gunoan ka vishtar poorvak varnan bharadvaj ne poochha- bhagavan! lok mean ye paanch dhatu hi ‘mahabhoot’ kahalate haian, jinhhean brahma ne srishti ke adi mean racha tha. ye hi in samasht lokoan mean vhyapht hai. parantu jab mahabuddhiman brahma ji ne aur bhi hajaroan bhootoan ki rachana ki hai, tab in paanchoan ko hi ‘bhoot’ kahana kahaan tak yuktisangat hai? bhrigu ji ne kaha- mune! ye paanch bhoot hi asim haian, isaliye inhhian ke sath ‘maha’ shabhd jo da jata hai. inhhian se bhootoan ki uthpati hoti hai; at: inhhian ke liye ‘mahabhoot’ shabhd ka prayog susangat hai. praniyoan ka sharir in paanch mahabhootoan ka hi sanghat hai. isamean jo cheshhta ya gati hai, vah vayu ka bhag hai. jo khokhalapan hai, vah akash ka aansh hai. ushhma (garmi) agni ka aansh hai. lohoo adi taral padarth jal ke aansh haian aur haddi, maans adi thos padarth prithhvi ke aansh hai. is prakar sara shthavar–jangam jagat in paanch bhootoan se yukht hai. inhhian ke sookshhm aansh shrotr (kan), ghran (nasika), rasana, thvacha aur netr-in paanch indriyoan ke nam se prasiddh haian. bharadvaj ne poochha- bhagavan! apake kathananusar yadi samasht shthavar–jangam padarth in paanch mahabhootoan se hi sanyukht haian to shthavaroan ke shariroan mean to paanch bhoot nahian dikhayi dete haian. vrikshoan ke sharir mean garmi nahi hai, koee cheshhta bhi nahian hai tatha vashtav mean ve ghan hai; at: unake sharir mean paanchoan bhootoan ki upalabdhi nahian heati hai. ve n soonate haian, n dekhate haian, n gandh aur ras ka hi anubhav karate haian aur n unhean sparsh ka hi jnan hota hai; phir ve panchabhautik kaise kahe jate haian? unamean n to dravatv dekha jata hai, n agni ka aansh, n prithhvi aur vayu ka hi bhag upalabhdh hota hai. akash to apramey hai; at: vah bhi vrikshoan mean nahian hai, isaliye vrikshoan ki panchabhautikata nahian siddh hoti hai. bhrigu ji ne kaha- mune! yadyapi vriksh thos jan p date haian to bhi unamean akash haian, isamean sanshay nahian hai. isi se unamean nityaprati phal–phool adi ki utpatti sambhav ho jati hai. vrikshoan ke bhitar jo ooshma ya garmi hai, usi se unake pathte, chhal, phal phool, kumhhalate haian, murajhakar jh d jate hai; isase uname sparsh ka hona bhi siddh hota hai. yah bhi dekha jata hai ki vayu, agni aur bijali ki k dak adi bhishan shabhd hone par vrikshoan ke phal-phool jh dakar gir jate haian. shabhd ka grahan to shravanendriy se hi hota hai; isase yah siddh hua ki vriksh bhi sunate haian. lata vriksh ko charoan or se lapet leti hai aur usake oopari bhag tak chadh jati hai. bina dekhe kisi ke apane jane ka marg nahian mil sakata; isase siddh hai ki vriksh dekhate bhi haian. pavitr aur apavitr ganhdh se tatha nana prakar ke dhoopoan ki gandh se vriksh nirog hokar phoolane–phalane lag jate hai; isase pramanit hota hai ki vriksh bhi suanghate haian. vriksh apane j d se jal pite haian aur koee rog hone par j d mean aushadhi dalakar unaki chikithsa bhi ki jati hai; isase siddh hai ki vriksh mean rasanendriy bhi hai. |
