tere rajao ke sharir mean rahane se hi lobh, jhooth, chori, dushtata, svadharm-tyag, daridrata, kapat, kalah, dambh aur doosare papoan ki badhati ho rahi hai. atah adharm ke sathi! is brahmavart mean too ek kshan ke liye bhi n thaharana; kyoanki yah dharm aur saty ka nivasasthan hai. is kshetr mean yajn vidhi janane vale mahatma yajnoan ke dvara yajnapurush-bhagavan ki aradhana karate rahate haian. is desh mean bhagavan shrihari yajnoan ke roop mean nivas karate haian, yajnoan ke dvara unaki pooja hoti hai aur ve yajn karane valoan ka kalyan karate haian. ve sarvatma bhagavan vayu ki bhaanti samast charachar jivoan ke bhitar aur bahar ekaras sthit rahate hue unaki kamanaoan ko poorn karate rahate haian.

sootaji kahate haian- parikshit ki ajna sunakar kaliyug sihar utha. yamaraj ke saman marane ke liye udyat, hath mean talavar liye hue parikshit se vah bola-

kali ne kaha- sarvabhaum! apaki ajna se jahaan kahian bhi maian rahane ka vichar karata hooan, vahian dekhata hooan ki ap dhanush par ban chadhaye kh de hai. dharmikashiromane! ap mujhe vah sthan batalaiye, jahaan maian apaki ajna ka palan karata hua sthir hokar rah sakooan.

soot ji kahate haian- kaliyug ki prarthana svikar karake raja parikshit ne use char sthan diye- dyoot, madyapan, stri-sang aur hiansa. in sthanoan mean kramashah asaty, mad, asakti aur nirdayata- ye char prakar ke adharm nivas karate haian. usane aur bhi sthan maange. tab samarth parikshit ne use rahane ke liye ek aur sthan- ‘suvarn’ (dhan) diya. is prakar kaliyug ke paanch sthan ho gaye- jhooth, mad, kam, vair aur rajogun.

parikshit ke diye hue inhian paanch sthanoan mean adharm ka mool karan kali unaki ajnaoan ka palan karata hua nivas karane laga. isaliye atmakalyanakami purush ko in paanchoan sthanoan ka sevan kabhi nahian karana chahiye. dharmik raja, praja varg ke laukik neta aur dharmopadeshta guruoan ko to b di savadhani se inaka tyag karana chahiye.

raja parikshit ne isake bad vrishabharoop dharm ke tinoan charan- tapasya, shauch aur daya jo d diye aur ashvasan dekar prithvi ka sanvardhan kiya. ve hi maharaja parikshit is samay apane rajasianhasan par, jise unake pitamah maharaj yudhishthir ne van mean jate samay unhean diya tha, virajaman haian. ve param yashasvi saubhagyabhajan chakravarti samrath rajarshi parikshit is samay hastinapur mean kaurav-kul ki rajyalakshmi se shobhayaman haian. abhimanyunandan raja parikshit vastav mean aise hi prabhavashali haian, jinake shasanakal mean ap log is dirghakalin yajn ke liye dikshit hue haian.[1]

  1. 43 se 45 tak ke shlokoan mean maharaj parikshit ka vartaman ke saman varnan kiya gaya hai. ‘vartamanasamipye vartamanavadva’ (pra. soo. 3|3|131) is panini-sootr ke anusar vartaman ke nikatavarti bhoot aur bhavishy ke liye bhi vartaman ka prayog kiya ja sakata hai. jagadguru shrivallabhachary ji maharaj ne apani tika mean likha hai ki yadyapi parikshit ki mrityu ho gayi thi, phir bhi unaki kirti aur prabhav vartaman ke saman hi vidyaman the. unake prati atyant shraddha utpann karane ke liye unaki doori yahaan mita di gayi hai. unhean bhagavanh ka sayujy prapt ho gaya tha, isaliye bhi soot ji ko ve apane sammukh hi dikh rahe haian. n keval unhian ko, balki sabako is bat ki pratiti ho rahi hai. ‘atma vai jayate putrah’ is shruti ke anusar janamejay ke roop mean bhi vahi rajasianhasan par baithe hue haian. in sab karanoan se vartaman ke roop mean unaka varnan bhi katha ke ras ko pusht hi karata hai.
