bhagavan shrikrishn kahate haian- uddhav ji! yadyapi vyavahar mean purush aur prakriti-drishta aur drishy ke bhed se do prakar ka jagath jan p data hai, tathapi paramarth-drishti se dekhane par yah sab ek adhishthan-svaroop hi hai; isaliye kisi ke shant, ghor aur moodh svabhav tatha unake anusar karmoan ki n stuti karani chahiye aur n ninda. sarvada advait-drishti rakhani chahiye. jo purush doosaroan ke svabhav aur unake karmoan ki prashansa athava ninda karate haian, ve shighr hi apane yatharth paramarth-sadhan se chyut ho jate haian; kyoanki sadhan to dvait ke abhinivesh ka-usake prati satyatv-buddhi ka nishedh karata hai aur prashansa tatha ninda usaki satyata ke bhram ko aur bhi dridh karati haian. uddhav ji! sabhi indriyaan rajas ahankar ke kary haian. jab ve nidrit ho jati haian, tab sharir ka abhimani jiv chetana shoony ho jata hai; arthath use bahari sharir ki smriti nahian rahati. us samay yadi man bach raha, tab to vah sapane ke jhoothe drishyoan mean bhatakane lagata hai aur vah bhi lin ho gaya, tab to jiv mrityu ke saman gadh nidra-sushupti mean lin ho jata hai. vaise hi sab jiv apane advitiy atmasvaroop ko bhoolakar nana vastuoan ka darshan karane lagata hai, tab vah svapn ke saman jhoothe drishyoan mean phans jata hai; athava mrityu ke saman ajnan mean lin ho jata hai.

uddhav ji! jab dvait nam ki koee vastu hi nahian hai, tab usamean amuk vastu bhali hai aur amuk buri, athava itani bhali aur itani buri hai-yah prashn hi nahian uth sakata. vishv ki sabhi vastuean vani se kahi ja sakati haian athava man se sochi ja sakati haian; isaliye drishy evan anity hone ke karan unaka mithyatv to spasht hi hai. parachhaeean, pratidhvani aur sipi adi mean chaandi adi ke abhas yadyapi haian to sarvatha mithya, parantu unake dvara manushy ke hriday mean bhay-kamp adi ka sanchar ho jata hai. vaise hi dehadi sabhi vastuean haian to sarvatha mithya hi, parantu jab tak jnan ke dvara inaki asatyata ka bodh nahian ho jata, inaki atyantik nivritti nahian ho jati, tab tak ye bhi ajnaniyoan ko bhayabhit karati rahati haian. uddhav ji! jo kuchh pratyaksh ya paroksh vastu hai, vah atma hi hai. vahi sarvashaktimanh bhi hai.

jo kuchh vishv-srishti pratit ho rahi hai, isaka vah nimitt-karan to hai hi, upadan-karan bhi hai, vahi rakshak hai aur rakshit bhi vahi hai. sarvatma bhagavan hi isaka sanhar karate haian aur jisaka sanhar hota hai, vah bhi ve hi haian. avashy hi vyavahar drishti se dekhane par atma is vishv se bhinn hai; parantu atmadrishti se usake atirikt aur koee vastu hi nahian hai. usake atirikt jo kuchh pratit ho raha hai, usaka kisi bhi prakar nirvachan nahian kiya ja sakata aur anirvachaniy to keval atmasvaroop hi hai; isaliye atma mean srishti-sthiti sanhar athava adhyatm, adhidaiv aur adhibhoot-ye tin-tin prakar ki pratitiyaan sarvatha nirmool hi haian. n hone par bhi yoan hi pratit ho rahi haian. yah sattv, raj aur tam ke karan pratit hone vali drishta-darshan-drishy adi ki trividhata maya ka khel hai.
