narad ji ne kaha- yudhishthir! ninda, stuti, satkar aur tiraskar-is sharir ke hi to hote haian. is sharir ki kalpana prakriti aur purush ka thik-thik vivek n hone ke karan hi huee hai. jab is sharir ko hi apana atma man liya jata hai, tab ‘yah maian hooan aur yah mera hai’ aisa bhav ban jata hai. yahi sare bhedabhav ka mool hai. isi ke karan ta dana aur durvachanoan se pi da hoti hai. jis sharir mean abhiman ho jata hai ki ‘yah maian hooan’, us sharir ke vadh se praniyoan ko apana vadh jan p data hai. kintu bhagavanh mean to jivoan ke saman aisa abhiman hai nahian; kyoanki ve sarvatma haian, advitiy haian. ve jo doosaroan ko dand dete haian-vah bhi unake kalyan ke liye hi, krodhavash athava dveshavash nahian. tab bhagavanh ke sambandh mean hiansa ki kalpana to ki hi kaise ja sakati hai. isaliye chahe sudridh vairabhav se ya vairahin bhaktibhav se, bhay se, sneh se athava kamana se-kaise bhi ho, bhagavanh mean apana man poorn roop se laga dena chahiye. bhagavanh ki drishti se in bhavoan mean koee bhed nahian hai.

yudhishthir! mera to aisa dridh nishchay hai ki manushy vairabhav se bhagavanh mean jitana tanmay ho jata hai, utana bhaktiyog se nahian hota. bhriangi ki de ko lakar bhit par apane chhidr mean band kar deta hai aur vah bhay tatha udveg se bhriangi ka chintan karate-karate usake-jaisa hi ho jata hai.
