atma aur anatma ke svaroop ko prithakh-prithakh bhalibhaanti samajh lena hi jnan hai, kyoanki vivek hote hi dvait ka astitv mit jata hai. usaka sadhan hai tapasya ke dvara hriday ko shuddh karake vedadi shastroan ka shravan karana. inake atirikt shravananukul yuktiyaan, mahapurushoan ke upadesh aur in donoan se aviruddh svanubhooti bhi praman haian. sabaka sar yahi nikalata hai ki is sansar ke adi mean jo tha tatha ant mean jo rahega, jo isaka mool karan aur prakashak hai, vahi advitiy, upadhishoony paramatma bich mean bhi hai. usake atirikt aur koee vastu nahian hai.

uddhav ji! sone ke kangan, kundal adi bahut-se abhooshan banate haian; parantu jab ve gahane nahian bane the, tab bhi sona tha aur jab nahian raheange, tab bhi sona rahega. isaliye jab bich mean usake kangan-kundal adi anekoan nam rakhakar vyavahar karate haian, tab bhi vah sona hi hai. thik aise hi jagath ka adi, ant aur madhy maian hi hooan. vastav mean maian hi saty tattv hooan. bhaee uddhav! man ki tin avasthaean hoti haian-jagrath, svapn aur sushupti; in avasthaoan ke karan tin hi gun haian sattv, raj aur tam, aur jagath ke tin bhed haian-adhyatm (indriyaan), adhibhoot (prithivyadi) aur adhidaiv (karta). ye sabhi trividhataean jisaki satta se saty ke saman pratit hoti haian aur samadhi adi mean yah trividhata n rahane par bhi jisaki satta bani rahati haian, vah turiyatattv-in tinoan se pare aur inamean anugat chautha brahmatattv hi saty hai. jo utpatti se pahale nahian tha aur pralay ke pashchath bhi nahian rahega, aisa samajhana chahiye ki bich mean bhi vah hai nahian-keval kalpana matr, nam matr hi hai. yah nishchit saty hai ki jo padarth jisase banata hai aur jisake dvara prakashit hota hai, vahi usaka vastavik svaroop hai, vahi usaki paramarth-satta hai-yah mera dridh nishchay hai. yah jo vikaramayi rajas srishti hai, yah n hone par bhi dikh rahi hai. yah svayan prakash brahm hi hai. isaliye indriy, vishay, man aur panchabhootadi jitane chitr-vichitr nam roop haian unake roop mean brahm hi pratit ho raha hai.

brahmavichar ke sadhan haian-shravan, manan, nididhyasan aur svanubhooti. usamean sahayak haian-atmajnani gurudev! inake dvara vichar karake spasht roop se dehadi anatm padarthoan ka nishedh kar dena chahiye. is prakar nishedh ke dvara atmavishayak sandehoan ko chhinn-bhinn karake apane anandasvaroop atma mean hi magn ho jaye aur sab prakar ki vishayavasanaoan se rahit ho jaye. nishedh karane ki prakriya yah hai ki prithvi ka vikar hone ke karan sharir atma nahian hai. indriy, unake adhishthatri-devata pran vayu, jal agni evan man bhi atma nahian haian; kyoanki inaka dharan-poshan sharir ke saman hi ann ke dvara hota hai. buddhi, chitt, ahankar, akash, prithvi, shabdadi vishay aur gunoan ki samyavastha prakriti bhi atma nahian haian; kyoanki ye sab-ke-sab drishy evan j d haian.

uddhav ji! jise mere svaroop ka bhalibhaanti jnan ho gaya hai, usaki vrittiyaan aur indriyaan yadi samahit rahati haian to use unase labh kya hai? aur yadi ve vikshipt rahati haian to unase hani bhi kya hai? kyoanki antahkaran aur bahyakaran-sabhi gunamay haian aur atma se inaka koee sambandh nahian hai. bhala, akash mean badaloan ke chha jane athava titar-bitar ho jane se soory ka kya banata-big data hai?
