maharaj prithu ki yajnashala mean shrivishnu bhagavanh ka pradurbhav

shrimaitrey ji kahate haian- vidur ji! maharaj prithu ke ninyanabe yajnoan se yajnabhokta yajneshvar bhagavanh vishnu ko bhi b da santosh hua. unhoanne indr ke sahit vahaan upasthit hokar unase kaha.

shribhagavanh ne kaha- rajan! (indr ne) tumhare sau ashvamedh poore karane ke sankalp mean vighn dala hai. ab ye tumase kshama chahate haian, tum inhean kshama kar do.

naradev! jo shreshth manav sadhu aur sadbuddhi-sampann hote haian, ve doosare jivoan se droh nahian karate; kyoanki yah sharir hi atma nahian hai. yadi tum-jaise log bhi meri maya se mohit ho jayean, to samajhana chahiye ki bahut dinoan tak ki huee jnanijanoan ki seva se keval shram hi hath laga. jnanavanh purush is sharir ko avidya, vasana aur karmoan ka hi putala samajhakar isamean asakt nahian hota. is prakar jo is sharir mean hi asakt nahian hai, yah viveki purush isase utpann hue ghar, putr aur dhan adi mean bhi kis prakar mamata rakh sakata hai. yah atma ek, shuddh, svayanprakash, nirgun, gunoan ka ashrayasthan, sarvavyapak, avaranashoony, sabaka sakshi evan any atma se rahit hai; atev sharir se bhinn hai. jo purush is dehasthit atma ko is prakar sharir se bhinn janata hai, vah prakriti se sambandh rakhate hue bhi usake gunoan se lipt nahian hota; kyoanki usaki sthiti mujh paramatma mean rahati hai.

rajanh! jo purush kisi prakar ki kamana n rakhakar apane varnashram ke dharmoan dvara nityaprati shraddhapoorvak meri aradhana karata hai, usaka chitt dhire-dhire shuddh ho jata hai. chitt shuddh hone par usaka vishayoan se sambandh nahian rahata tatha use tattvajnan ki prapti ho jati hai. phir to vah meri samataroop sthiti ko prapt ho jata hai. yahi param shanti, brahm athava kaivaly hai. jo purush yah janata hai ki sharir, jnan, kriya aur man ka sakshi hone par bhi kootasth atma unase nirlipt hi rahata hai, vah kalyanamay mokshapad prapt kar leta hai.

rajanh! gunapravaharoop avahan to bhoot, indriy, indriyabhimani devata aur chidabhas- in sabaki samashtiroop parichchhinn liang sharir ka hi hua karata hai; isaka sarvasakshi atma se koee sambandh nahian hai. mujhamean dridh anurag rakhane vale buddhimanh purush sampatti aur vipatti prapt hone par kabhi harsh-shokadi vikaroan ke vashibhoot nahian hote. isaliye viravar! tum uttam, madhyam aur adham purushoan mean saman bhav rakhakar sukh-duahkh ko bhi ek-sa samajho tatha man aur indriyoan ko jitakar mere hi dvara jutaye hue mantri adi samast rajakiy purushoan ki sahayata se sampoorn lokoan ki raksha karo. raja ka kalyan praja palan mean hi hai. isase use paralok mean praja ke puny ka chhatha bhag milata hai. isake viparit jo raja praja ki raksha to nahian karata; kiantu usase kar vasool karata jata hai, usaka sara puny to praja chhin leti hai aur badale mean use praja ke pap ka bhagi hona p data hai. aisa vichar kar yadi tum shreshth brahmanoan ki sammati aur poorvaparampara se prapt hue dharm ko hi mukhyatah apana lo aur kahian bhi asakt n hokar is prithvi ka nyayapoorvak palan karate raho to sab log tumase prem kareange aur kuchh hi dinoan mean tumhean ghar baithe hi sanakadi siddhoan ke darshan hoange.
