gita adhyay-14 shlok-7 / Gita Chapter-14 Verse-7 prasang- ab rajogun ka svaroop aur usake dvara jivatma ko baandhe jane ka prakar batalate hai- rajo ragatmakan viddhi trishnasagnasamudbhavamh . tannibadhnati kauntey karmasagne dehinamh ॥7॥ he arjun! rag roop rajogun ko kamana aur asakti se utpann jan. vah is jivatma ko karmoan ke aur unake phal ke sanbandh se baandhata hai ॥7॥ Arjuna, know the quality of rajas, which is of the nature of passion, as born of cupidity and attachment. It binds the soul through attachment, to actions and their result. (7) kauntey = he arjun ; ragatmakamh = ragaroop ; raj: = rajogun ko ; trishnasagd samudratamh = kamana aur asakti se utpann hua ; viddhi = jan ; tath = vah ; dehinamh = (is) jivatmako ; karmasagden = karmoki aur unake phalaki asakti se ; nibadhrati = baandhata hai
