rajanh! tumane bahut-se niraparadh sarpoan ko jala diya hai. is abhichar-yajn ka phal keval praniyoan ki hiansa hi hai. isaliye ise band kar dena chahiye. kyoanki jagath ke sabhi prani apane-apane prarabdh karm ka hi bhog kar rahe haian.'

soot ji kahate haian- shaunakadi rrishiyoan! maharshi brihaspati ji ki bat ka samman karake janamejay ne kaha ki ‘apaki ajna shirodhary hai.’ unhoanne sarpasatr band kar diya aur devaguru brihaspati ji ki vidhipoorvak pooja ki. rrishigan! (jisase vidvanh brahman ko bhi krodh aya, raja ko shap hua, mrityu huee, phir janamejay ko krodh aya, sarp mare gaye) yah vahi bhagavan vishnu ki mahamaya hai. yah anirvachaniy hai, isi se bhagavan ke svaroopabhoot jiv krodhadi gun-vrittiyoan ke dvara shariroan mean mohit ho jate haian, ek-doosare ko duahkh dete aur bhogate haian aur apane prayatn se isako nivritt nahian kar sakate. (vishnu bhagavan ke svaroop ka nishchay karake unaka bhajan karane se hi maya se nivritti hoti hai; isaliye unake svaroop ka niroopan suno-) yah dambhi hai, kapati hai-ityakarak buddhi mean bar-bar jo dambh-kapat sphuran hota hai, vahi maya hai.

jab atmavadi purush atmacharcha karane lagate haian, tab vah paramatma ke svaroop mean nirbhayaroop se prakashit nahian hoti; kintu bhayabhit hokar apana moh adi kary n karati huee hi kisi prakar rahati hai. is roop mean usaka pratipadan kiya gaya hai. maya ke ashrit nana prakar ke vivad, matavad bhi paramatma ke svaroop mean nahian haian; kyoanki ve vishesh vishayak haian aur paramatma nirvishesh hai. keval vad-vivad ki to bat hi kya, lok-paralok ke vishayoan ke sambandh mean sankalp-vikalp karane vala man bhi shant ho jata hai. karm, usake sampadan ki samagri aur unake dvara sadhyakarm-in tinoan se anvit ahankaratmak jiv-yah sab jisamean nahian haian, vah atm-svaroop paramatma n to kabhi kisi ke dvara badhit hota hai aur n to kisi ka virodhi hi hai. jo purush us paramapad ke svaroop ka vichar karata hai, vah man ki mayamayi laharoan, ahankar adi ka badh karake svayan apane atmasvaroop mean vihar karane lagata hai. jo mumukshu evan vicharashil purush paramapad ke atirikt vastu ka parityag karate hue ‘neti-neti’ ke dvara usaka nishedh karake aisi vastu prapt karate haian, jisaka kabhi nishedh nahian ho sakata aur n to kabhi tyag hi, vahi vishnu bhagavan ka param pad hai; yah bat sabhi mahatma aur shrutiyaan ek mat se svikar karati haian.

apane chitt ko ekagr karane vale purush antahkaran ki ashuddhiyoan ko, asaty bhavanaoan ko sada-sarvada ke liye mitakar anany premabhav se paripoorn hriday ke dvara usi param pad ka aliangan karate haian aur usi mean sama jate haian. vishnu bhagavan ka yahi vastavik svaroop hai, yahi unaka param pad hai. isaki prapti unhian logoan ko hoti hai, jinake antahkaran mean sharir ke prati ahanbhav nahian hai, aur n to isake sambandhi grih adi padarthoan mean mamata hi. sachamuch jagath ki vastuoan mean maianpan aur merepan ka arop bahut b di durjanata hai.
