sabhi praniyoan mean tin gun hote haian- sattv, raj aur tam. kal ki prerana se samay-samay par sharir, pran aur man mean unaka hras aur vikas bhi hua karata hai. jis samay man, buddhi aur indriyaan sattvagun mean sthit hokar apana-apana kam karane lagati haian, us samay satyayug samajhana chahiye. sattvagun ki pradhanata ke samay manushy jnan aur tapasya se adhik prem karane lagata hai. jis samay manushyoan ki pravritti aur ruchi dharm, arth aur laukik-paralaukik sukh-bhogoan ki or hoti haian tatha sharir, man evan indriyaan rajogun mean sthit hokar kam karane lagati haian-buddhiman parikshit! samajhana chahiye ki us samay tretayug apana kam kar raha hai. jis samay lobh, asantosh, abhiman, dambh aur matsar adi doshoan ka bolabala ho aur manushy b de utsah tatha ruchi ke sath sakam karmoan mean lagana chahe, us samay dvapar yug samajhana chahiye.

avashy hi rajogun aur tamogun ki mishrit pradhanata ka nam hi dvapar yug hai. jis samay jhooth-kapat, tandra-nidra, hiansa-vishad, shok-moh, bhay aur dinata ki pradhanata ho, use tamogun-pradhan kaliyug samajhana chahiye. jab kaliyug ka rajy hota hai, tab logoan ki drishti kshudr ho jati hai; adhikaansh log hote to haian atyant nirdhan, parantu khate haian bahut adhik. unaka bhagy to hota hai bahut hi mand aur chitt mean kamanaean hoti haian bahut b di-b di. striyoan mean dushtata aur kulatapan ki vriddhi ho jati hai. sare desh mean, gaanv-gaanv mean luteroan ki pradhanata evan prachurata ho jati hai. pakhandi log apane naye-naye mat chalakar manamane dhang se vedoan ka tatpary nikalane lagate haian aur is prakar unhean kalankit karate haian. raja kahalane vale log praja ki sari kamaee h dapakar unhean choosane lagate haian. brahman namadhari jiv pet bharane aur jananendriy ko tript karane mean hi lag jate haian. brahmachari log brahmachary vrat se rahit aur apavitr rahate lagate haian. grihasth doosaroan ko bhiksha dene ke badale svayan bhikh maangane haian, vanaprasthi gaanvoan mean basane lagate haian aur sannyasi dhan ke atyant lobhi-arthapishach ho jate haian. striyoan ka akar to chhota ho jata hai, par bhookh badh jati hai. unhean santan bahut adhik hoti hai aur ve apane kul-maryada ka ullanghan karake laj-haya-jo unaka bhooshan hai-chho d baithati haian. ve sada-sarvada k davi bat kahati rahati haian aur chori tatha kapat mean b di nipun ho jati haian. unamean sahas bhi bahut badh jata hai.

vyapariyoan ke hriday atyant kshudr ho jate haian. ve kau di-kau di se lipate rahate aur chhadam-chhadam ke liye dhokhadh di karane lagate haian. aur to kya-apatti kal n hone par dhani hone par bhi ve nimn shreni ke vyaparoan ko, jinaki satpurush ninda karate haian, thik samajhane aur apanane lagate haian. svami chahe sarvashreshth hi kyoan n hoan-jab sevak log dekhate haian ki isake pas dhan-daulat nahian rahi, tab use chho dakar bhag jate haian. sevak chahe kitana hi purana kyoan n ho-parantu jab vah kisi vipatti mean p d jata hai, tab svami use chho d dete haian. aur to kya, jab gauean baken ho jati haian-doodh dena band kar deti haian, tab log unaka bhi parityag kar dete haian.
