jo dusht shrimad se aandhe ho rahe haian, unaki aankhoan mean jyoti dalane ke lie daridrata hi sabase b da aanjan hai; kyoanki daridr yah dekh sakata hai ki doosare prani bhi mere hi jaise haian .

jisake sharir mean ek bar kaanta g d jata hai, vah nahian chahata ki kisi bhi prani ko kaanta g dane ki pi da sahani p de; kyoanki us pi da aur usake dvara hone vale vikaroan se vah samajhata hai ki doosare ko bhi vaisi hi pi da hoti hai. parantu jise kabhi kaanta g da hi nahian, vah usaki pi da ka anuman nahian kar sakata.

daridr mean ghamand aur hek di nahian hoti; vah sab tarah ke madoan se bacha rahata hai. balki devavash use jo kasht uthana p data hai, vah usake lie ek bahut b di tapasya bhi hai.

jise pratidin bhojan ke liy ann jutana p data hai, bhookh se jisaka sharir dubala-patala ho gaya hai, us daridr ki indriyaan bhi adhik vishay nahian bhogana chahatian, sookh jati haian aur phir vah apane bhogoan ke lie doosare praniyoan ko satata nahian - usaki hiansa nahian karata.

yadyapi sadhu purush samadarshi hote haian, phir bhi unaka samagam daridr ke liye hi sulabh hai; kyoanki usake bhog to pahale se hi chhoote hue haian. ab santoan ke sang se usaki lalasa-trishna bhi mit jati hai aur shighr hi usaka antahkaran shuddh ho jata hai.[1] jin mahatmaoan ke chitt mean sabake liye samata hai, jo keval bhagavan ke charanaravindoan ka makarand-ras pine ke lie sada utsuk rahate haian, unhean durgunoan ke khajane athava durachariyoan ki jivika chalane vale aur dhan ke mad se matavale dushtoan ki kya avashyakata hai? ve to usaki upeksha ke hi patr haian.[2]
