is prakar jo apani maya ke dvara sab praniyoan ke bhitar jivaroop se aur bahar kalaroop se vyapt haian, ve bhagavanh hi pachisavean tattv haian. jab paramapurush paramatma jivoan ke adrishtavash kshobh ko prapt huee sampoorn jivoan ki utpattisthanaroopa apani maya mean chichchhaktiroop viry sthapit kiya, to usase tejomay mahattattv utpann hua. lay-vikshepadirahit tatha jagath ke aankuraroop is mahattattv ne apane mean sthit vishv ko prakat karane ke liye apane svaroop ko achchhadit karane vale pralayakalin andhakar ko apane hi tej se pi liya.

jo sattvagunamay, svachchh, shant aur bhagavanh ki upalabdhi ka sthanaroop chitt hai, vahi mahattattv hai aur usi ko ‘vasudev’ kahate haian.[1] jis prakar prithvi adi any padarthoan ke sansarg se poorv jal apani svabhavik (phen-tarangarahit) avastha mean atyant svachchh, vikarashoony evan shant hota hai, usi prakar apani svabhavik avastha ki drishti se svachchhatv, avikaritv aur shantattv hi vrittiyoan sahit chitt ka lakshan kaha gaya hai. tadanantar bhagavanh ki viryaroop chitth-shakti se utpann hue mahattattv ke vikrit hone par usase kriya-shaktipradhan ahankar utpann hua. vah vaikarik, taijas aur tamas bhed se tin prakar ka hai. usi se kramashah man, indriyoan aur panchamahabhootoan ki utpatti huee. is bhoot, indriy aur manaroop ahankar ko hi panditajan sakshath ‘sankarshan’ namak sahasr sir vale anantadev kahate haian. is ahankar ka devataroop se kartritv, indriyaroop se karanatv aur panchabhoot roop se karyatv lakshan hai tatha sattvadi gunoan ke sambandh se shantattv, ghoratv aur moodhatv bhi isi ke lakshan haian.

uparyukt tin prakar ke ahankar ke vikrit hone par usase man hua, jisake sankalp-vikalpoan se kamanaoan ki utpatti hoti hai. yah manastattv hi indriyoan ke adhishthata ‘aniruddh’ ke nam se prasiddh hai. yogijan sharatkalin nilakamal ke saman shyam varn vale in aniruddh ji ki shanaiah-shanaiah man ko vashibhoot karake aradhan karate haian.

sadhvi! phir taijas ahankar mean vikar hone par usase buddhitv utpann hua. vastu ka sphuranaroop vijnan aur indriyoan ke vyapar mean sahayak hona-padarthoan ka vishesh jnan karana-ye buddhi ke kary haian. vrittiyoan ke bhed se sanshay, viparyay (viparit jnan), nishchay, smriti aur nidra bhi buddhi ke hi lakshan haian. yah buddhitattv hi ‘pradyumn’ hai. indriyaan bhi taijas ahankar ka hi kary haian. karm aur jnan ke vibhag se unake karmendriy aur jnanendriy do bhed haian. inamean karm pran ki shakti hai aur jnan buddhi ki. bhagavanh ki chetana shakti ki prerana se tapas ahankar ke vikrit hone par usase shabdatanmatr ka pradurbhav hua. shabdatanmatr se akash tatha shabd ka jnan karane vali shrotrendriy utpann huee. arth ka prakashak hona, ot mean kh de hue vakta ka bhi jnan kara dena aur akash ka sookshm roop hona-vidvanoan ke mat mean yahi shabd ke lakshan haian. bhootoan ko avakash dena, sabake bahar-bhitar vartaman rahana tatha pran, indriy aur man ka ashray hona-ye akash ke vritti (kary) roop lakshan haian.

  1. jise adhyatm mean chitt kahate haian; usi ko adhibhoot mean mahattattv kaha jata hai. chitt mean adhishthata ‘kshetrajn’ aur upasyadev ‘vasudev’ haian. isi prakar ahankar mean adhishthata ‘rudr’ aur upasyadev ‘sankarshan’ haian, buddhi mean adhishthata ‘brahma’ aur upasyadev ‘pradyumn’ haian tatha man mean adhishthata ‘chandrama’ aur upasyadev ‘aniruddh’ haian.
